And so, The keyblader, or those that survived, were summoned into The City of Lost Light. There they wait until they are assigned their role in the war against the darkness of the Collective.

Xeeres let go of Jinno's collar after looked around the all familiar area of the city block sized ballroom that they stood in. He watched as the Governors gave their speech an disappeared with little interest. Right now his main concern was making sure that Rose was alright. Now that they were inside, he could just fill her in on any details she missed later. He walked out of the room and through the vast halls of the city on his way to take her to the infirmary.
As he walked he passed by many people he had come to know within the city, but he didn't acknowledge them. He was to focused on trying to fix his mistake, even though he wasn't sure he could at this point. He made it to the infirmary and put Rose down on a bed at the request of one of the nurses. The nurse took off her scarf and handed it to Xeeres, also taking off the bandage made from his belt and healed her throat. "What happened?" The nurse asked after she was finished fixing Roses throat. "I did." Xeeres responded before sitting down and laying his head own like a sat puppy on the edge of the foot of her bed as he sat on a chair. He looked away with the same expression as the nurse looked at him sympathetically and walked away to the other patients. Xeeres fell asleep in self loathing, holding on to the scarf.
Senkei glared at Xeeres for pulling him like that. After being let go he listened to the speech of the Governors and walked away. "Man! What a rip!" He shouted in reference to him not being able to fight Darkside. As he walked he felt a chill go up his spine just thinking about what happened. He wasn't sure he could even beat Darkside. And what was all that crap they were talking about? About him dying and inspiring his grandson? He was only sixteen. He wasn't thinking about children let alone grandchildren.
As he though about all of these things, he had wondered around, consumed by his thoughts. When he finally snapped out of it, he was in the middle of... Nowhere. "Ah crap! Where am I?" He shouted into nowhere before turning into another room that was apparently the food court of the city. From what he could tell, this place was like a giant, city sized castle-like mall. So logically, to him, it made sense to say this was the food court. "Alright!" He shouted. "My kinda place." He ran in and immediately started to eat, to drown out the confusion in his mind.

Rose opened her eyes slowly and growled softly. She awoke carefully and noticed the soreness in her throat. She touched it carefully and realized it had been healed. She sat up and took in her new surroundings. Where am i? she thought. She was someplace much different than the heartless infested city. The atmosphere, the sounds,the smells. It was..brighter. She turned her attention to the edge of her bed. Xeeres was sleeping there, her scarf clamped tightly in his hand. She stared at him warily. She remembered him attacking her and the others and didn't know if she should trust him anymore. You shouldn't her dark half whispered kill him now while he's vulnerable! No...you pushed him to go that far,i almost don't blame him. She stared at him with concern. I'll keep my gaurd up from now on. She had gotten a taste of Xeeres's power and it was something to truly respect and be cautious of. She carefully got out of bed and gently pried her scarf from his hands. He didn't stir. She then left to explore this new,brighter, place.

Xeeres started awake after about half an hour. He really hadn't had a decent sleep in two years. The longest he'd ever stayed asleep at once is maybe two hours. He looked groggily at his empty right hand. He looked up shocked and then looked around, seeing that Rose was gone. He sat up straight looking around, wanting to explain himself. Try at least. C'mon, c'mon. Where is she? He looked around the infirmary area and near it looking for her hoping she hadn't gone far, then sat on a bench after not being able to find her. Give it up. You don't even deserve a chance to explain yourself. What's the point anyway, once she goes home, she'll forget all about you. That's how it always is, with everybody. Why even try? He sighed and leaned his head back over the edge of the bench. He turned his music up and closed his eyes, thinking about all the friends he had and lost.
Any normal person would have cried themselves to sleep in his situation, but he couldn't. The tears had dried from his eyes a long time ago. Now, it was like he had come full circle and just couldn't anymore. "Isn't something missing? Isn't someone missing me?" He sang quietly to himself, hoping, and kind of fearing, she would come by sooner or later.

Rose walked the city's halls trying to find her way outside.She had been exploring for hours. It looked like she was in some kind of shopping plaza. She had found a food court and got a free bag of pretzel bites from a venders stall. She stuffed one in her mouth and looked around for some kind of exit. Rose, despite being in a totally different palce than beofre,felt safer and much more relaxed. She doubted that there were any trees,or grass, or animals with the sun being gone and all. Before she was about to give up hope she spotted a familiar figure. She sighed and wondered if fate was trying to tell her something. It was Xeeres,sitting on a bench listening to his obnoxiously loud music. She sighed,defeated,and stepped cautiously towards him. She couldn't find the others and she'd rather run into Xeeres than Senkei. "Xeeres",she said. There was no emotion in her voice.

Xeeres heard his name and opened his eyes halfway. Looking to see Rose. She looked kinda... Indifferent to him, cold. He didn't blame her. He sighed and turned to her. "Um... Rose." He started nervously, if he had a heart, it'd be beating ridiculously fast. He almost didn't want to see her, but he knew it would be inevitable, and he'd rather explain sooner than later. "Please, sit down... Please." He said nervously scooting over, his voice full of regret.

Rose could hear the regret in his voice and it was very real. She growled softly,a warning to him. She didn't sit but she came a bit closer. That was all that she was giving him for now. If his story felt legit then maybe she wouldn't hit him.

Xeeres watches as she gets closer but doesn't sit down. His mood drops even further. He opens his mouth taking a deep breath, about to say something. What's the point? He closes his mouth and sighs getting up and turning away. "Y'know what, forget it. It doesn't matter. I screwed up, that's all that matters." He said starting to walk away, his voice filled with hatred, for himself. How could I let myself screw up like that!? He undoes the locket from his neck and tosses it at her from over her shoulder. "Here, watch it yourself." He said coldly, still, the anger focused at himself. "Bring it back when you're done, I'll be on the wall. Decide from that if you want to forgive me." He said as he walked out of sight.

Rose caught the locket,suprised by Xeeres's outburst. She looked at the small trinket,confused. Why would he give this to me? Does he really trust me that much? Crush it! Do it! It's payback for what he did to us! her dark half cackled, Quiet you horrible creature! Rose snapped back. She flipped the locket open and was immediately taken through all of Xeeres's memories. She recognized the scene when Xeeres had broken off from them in the city. He walked into a strange fog then,heartless? Wait... no... them. He attacked them and recognized the fight clearly.She snapped the locket shut,not even watching it all the way through.
Illusion Magic? That's explains everything! She had a small feeling that may be the cause of it but wasn't sure if such a magic existed outside her world. Xeeres seemed to loyal to just attack his allies. She looked up and he was gone. He said he would be on the wall? What does that even mean!? Rose sighed heavily. She tied the locket around her neck and decided to find this...wall, hopefully it was outside. She walked around a bit before running into Senkei. Maybe he knows where this wall is.She approached him,the locket clearly visible.

Senkei sat on a table eating a whole chicken with his hands and teeth like wild animal. He stopped midway through the bite, hearing footsteps behind him. He grabbed the knife he should have been using to eat and turns pointing it at the person behind him. Seeing it was Rose, he was tempted to stab her anyway. He looked at her and saw Sera's locket around her neck. He glared at her and jumped down off of the table grabbing it. "Why do you have this!?" He shouted with no regard for anyone in the area. It was his sisters locket that she had given Xeeres. Either she took it from him, or he gave it to her. Either way, he wasn't happy with her having it.

Rose easily dodged the knife and glared but remembered her objective at the moment. Find Xeeres and let him know that she wasn't angry with him. She was yanked forward as Senkei grabbed the locket. Rose quickly back handed his hand away. "Don't antagonize me! Where is Xeeres! He lent this to me and i have to return it." She snapped. She wasn't trying to pick a fight. The situation was much different here. There were actual people here,innocent people. She was afraid that a fight could end up hurting someone,or getting them arrested,which ever came first. "He said he was on a "wall"? Do you know where that is?" she asked, a little calmer.

Senkei fought back the urge to punch her in the face when she slapped his hand. He scowled at her as she listened to her explanation. "Hmm, it could be that huge wall AROUND the friggin city." He said mockingly sarcastic. "That's probably where the little... That's probably where he went. Now get out of my sight." He said coldly as he went back to eating.

Rose snarled and walked way. Great that was helpful..but how do I get out of here in the first place! She didn't want to talk to Senkei anymore. He was just going to make her more frustrated than she already was. She decided to ask around. Some one has to know a way out of this labyrinth.
She walked around asking random people and eventually found an exit. She sighed in relief. She ran outside and took a deep breath of fresh of air and saw the wall. She whistled,impresses by the size of it. It was the second largest wall she's ever seen. But she also realized she had a lot of ground to cover. Rose swiftly scaled the wall and ran along it,knowing she'd run into him eventually.

Xeeres sat up against the edge of the top of the wall with his legs bent up a little, his arms resting on them. He has his head down and hi headphones on. He sighs rubbing his right arm, the scars from Rose tearing at it. He didn't ask for it to be fixed, he didn't want to have it fixed. It was still kind of sticky from it bleeding a few hours ago. He sighed again and got up, leaning on the edge of the wall, overlooking the outside city. He put his headphones around his neck. As he put them around his neck, he heard foot steps. He looked over and saw Rose running around, probably looking for him. He raised his left hand to flag her down, resting his head on his right arm, his chin in his forearm, looking out at the city.

Rose noticed Xeeres and jumped down in front of him. She took of the locket and gave it bak to him. "Quit feeling sorry for yourself boy there's no reason for you to be." She sat next to him and looked up the stars." You couldn't control what happened. I understand..and I'd be a hypocrite for scolding you for it. I've been in similar situations with this curse...only I've had much more unforgivable results." Rose saddened a bit before snapping out of it. "I'm alive and that's all that matters." Rose summoned her keyblade really fast and healed his arm. After dismissing it she stood up and yanked him to his feet with his left. "Now c'mon. There's no need apologize to me,but the others i'm not so certain of. You nearly smashed Kuroi's face in and you put Lexion through two buildings." She let go of him and began to head back inside to find the others. She looked back to see him not following."C'mon!" She called back in a friendly manner.
