((This is actually not the one I was intending to post... But this one was done first. Due to me having an iTouch handy at 12:30 last night when the idea came to me. Apparently I write my best and most eloquently when mostly-asleep.
WARNING: Kinda sad, OC death and kinda-rebirth, and Kingdom Hearts related insanity. Critiques loved, and yes, it is intended to be confusing.))

She screamed and dropped to her knees with her hands clasped firmly over her ears as the memory ripped through her mind with all the force of a bullet. She remembered. Now she remembered.
~*~*~*~

The fight, the accusations, the screaming, and then the most horrific sight of all as the other girl pulled the Light-elemental's powers from her with a short yet complex incantation and turned those powers against Lucis' own brother-in-heart. Tsuki, not expecting the surprise of having the short-haired brunette's powers thrown at him, never got the chance to counter. Lucis however, had just enough energy left to run as fast as her legs would carry her and skid to a stop right in front of the slightly-younger blonde, wrapping her arms around him in a tight hug. Normally being attacked by any form of Light at all wouldn't faze her in the slightest even with her powers completely burned out, but the Light thrown at Tsuki (with her in the way and therefore taking the attack) was a perverted and twisted form of the element. No longer the pure Light Lucis consisted of. This seemingly slight change (after all, it was still Light at it's core) was enough to knock Lucis' attempt at protecting her brother into an extremely stupid unintentional suicide.

Gold eyes widened as a soundless scream tore from her throat while the black-haired girl who caused the trouble in the first place gasped in shock and denial. Ayame hadn't wanted to hurt her friend, her princess, but unfortunately the way Galaxy had warped her mind had made her overlook the detail that would have made it very obvious the two siblings-in-heart would protect each other with their very lives.

Eventually the unceasing barrage against the smaller girl stopped as Galaxy finally released her control over Ayame's body. The black-haired girl's eyes turned pink once more, her hair fading to a lighter bubble-gum pink color. Those pink eyes were wet with unshed tears as she watched her best friend nearly collapse until Tsuki grabbed her and kept her from falling.

"No, no sis. Come on, stay awake!" Lucis blinked her eyes open slowly, looking up at her blonde brother and smiling tiredly.

"Sorry big brother..." She game him one of her trademark 'laugh and smirk's at the jokename she had given him years ago and gasped quietly from the sudden pain. Her eyes flinched closed for a few seconds while Tsuki carefully changed his grip on her so he could see if she had any visible injuries. Of course, none actually WERE visible, but if the searing echo of pain in his heart was anything to go by, he likely wouldn't see any visible wounds.

Her eyes fluttered open again as she tried to hug onto him and say something, but before she could a shudder wracked her frame as she dropped back limply in the blonde's grip. A glowing light surrounded her for a second before convalescing into a smaller, more condensed shape which glowed more brilliantly and disappeared from sight.

The rest of her deformed and disappeared quickly after that, but it didn't matter to him. He had lost his sister, practically half of him, and it was All. Ayame's. Fault. Crystal-blue, almost silver, eyes fastened onto the pink-haired girl sobbing uncontrollably just a few feet away while an overwhelming sense of loss settled over him..…...
~*~*~*~

Once she realized she was no longer screaming and her head was no longer feeling like someone had slashed a white-hot knife through it, she put her hands down. "I remember now. It was Ayame who attacked Tsuki... Not the other way around. How stupid could I have been to believe her lies over my brother? Was I really so worried of losing my second-in-command that I didn't want to trust my own heart?" She brought her legs underneath her and stood up, dusting her hands off while she did so. Except, she found something odd twined between two fingers of her right hand. A keychain, light silver with a red crystalline heart on the end of it. She blinked at it in surprise, holding her right hand out fully extended parallel to the ground while the chain was still in her hand. A flash of Light burst from her hand and a familiar warmth spread through her heart. "Lost Memory." The silver Keyblade sported curved angel-wing handguards and a long, straight shaft before ending in another angel wing cupping a larger version of the red crystalline heart that was on the keychain attached to the ring on the opposite end of the handguard.

She smiled lightly and swept the blade down in an arc experimentally. "Looks like I have some more work yet.... But I think I'm going to go find nii-san first."

W....wow....reading this makes me feel honored to be a part of Lucis's story. Albite a late addition.
