Me too! I'm throwing a huge party at my house and I hope Avatar wins Best Picture. There are like 10 nominees for best picture. Damn. Usually it is like 4 or 5. Not 10. I guess it has been a good movie year.

James Cameron and crew are the ones laughing without the Best Motion Picture award. Because, who is walking away with 3,000,000,000 dollars? Mr. Cameron.

Mr. Cameron. no joke. still though...Avatar deserved it. I think that the people who vote probly' decided that James Cameron has enough street cred as it is. Hurt locker pitty awards...? thats how I see it. Plus UP won best music?! what!? Sigh....so dissapointing

I personally think Hurt Locker won because Iraq war, touchy subject but ppl claim its because she had such a small budget to work with to make it all happen, contrary to avatar..but I don't see Cameron's ex wife pushing technology forward for her movie or putting the effort in to make up a whole language and for those 2 reasons alone James should have won best director
