I'm curious in the first XS game I found it helpful to catch on to certain parts in the story and little details I missed by checking the database in the UMN will there/is there going to be one in this? *hopes someone who has played the japanese version has an answer*

The UMN database was decidedly absent from the Japanese release of Episode 2, and a very unfortunate loss at that (especially for new players). Many players have been hoping that it will be added back in for the US release, it's presence or absence in the US version has not been confirmed but it isn't mentioned on the newly opened official site. However, the new official site has a lot of UMN database type information on characters, weapons, and mechs.

im pretty sure that was was good in the first game would most likely show up in the second game. i cant wait to get my copy of XS2.
