If you are quiet and you listen, you can hear the whispers of trees as they sing soft lullibies in the forests. Everyone can hear them they just don't listen to the whispers of the forests. Animals listen to them all the time and they sing along in perfect harmony. When wolves howl and birds sing, they follow the beat and the tune of the forest. If they are happy, they rejoice, the trees dance. The leaves shift and shake with the branches, dancing together. Animals know these dances well, wolves run in circles and birds pick parteners in these dances. Everyone can see these dances they just don't pay attention to the beauty in their moments. Very few sit and wait to see and hear the next move and song, they may even join in with the trees, in whispers and dances.
Kyra awoke under a tree, back up against the trunk. In the distance, she heard wolves howl and birds sing. She stood next to the tree and placed her hand on it's trunk, looking around. What happened? Where am i? she asked herself. She turned and looked at the tree. "Thank you for you support and strength along with your patience while i rested." she whispered to the tree. She listened to the whispers of the other trees as the wind rustled the leaves. She dropped her hand to the side and looked around again. She started walking, not knowing where she was going but all she knew was that she was coming into view of a lake.

Kyra walked into the middle or what looked like the middle of the forest. She let out a sigh and relaxed her body. She was home in nature. She walked up to a nearby tree and put her hand on it. She looked up at the leaves and branches. She heard the tree breath and when a breeze came by, she heard all the trees start to sing.

Ulruu walked with the pack. He looked around the trees. The place had its own beauty. His elven nature could appreciate it. The complex cycles that this ecosystem undergoes everyday to maintain balance. It was beautiful.

A tune came into Kyra's head. She began to hum it to herself. The alpha female started to howl. Kyra smiled at her but kept quiet and only hummed. She didn't think she was a good singer but nature along with others say she was really good. She didn't want to make the man feel bad seeming he couldn't hear.

Ulruu nimbly climbed up on a low bow that seemed to offer itself to him. He sat on the perch and gazed curiously at the two females. The air seemed to come alive to him as he felt the waves of sound roll from their tongues. He realized that he could finally 'hear' what elves professed to hear. It wasn't hearing at all. It was feeling. And, he felt the beauty of the music.

The female wolf started to jump around Kyra. She knew that she wanted Kyra to dance with the beat of the forest. Kyra started singing outloud mainly ahhs in different pitches. She started to take off her weapons. First her katana from her back, decided to take the belt with the daggers off as well, then her bow staff from her thigh and last were the sias from her boots. She placed them at the base of a tree and started to dance with the wolf. Kyra twirled, stepped forward, back ,side to side in no order just dancing with the wolf, singing as she did so. Right off the bat, the wolf and Kyra were in sync with the dance if one moved the other moved as well like two partners.

Ulruu smiled softly at her display of footwork. She was really in sync with the wolf. His mind wandered as he took in the beauty of the forest. It's so serene here. There are no screams of pain. No shrieks of fear. It's just quiet. He settled onto his spot as he took off the quiver of arrows and his bow.

Kyra started to turn around and around until she was so dizzy that she fell on her back in the grass. Her breaths were still calm and she closed her eyes and held in her breath. The wolf walked up to Kyra and sniffed at her face. Kyra opened her eyes quickly and grabbed her muzzle, blowing in the wolf's face. The wolf pulled away snizzing and snapping playfully at Kyra. She stood straight and started to dance around the wolf again but on her own pace which started slow and sped up but stop speeding up so the wolf could still keep up. This time she had two partners, the female and the male wolf. She kept up with both of their movement easily. She also casually twirled and jumped or even switched places with the wolves from time to time, just to keep it intresting. She was still singing a tune helping the wolves keep up.

It was a shame that he couldn't hear it, but he didn't really care about that then. His lean body swung off of the dance. His light footsteps from the elvish nature spun him to the tune. His footwork was quick and precise. He wove complicated patterns around the three graceful dancers, connecting them into one single dance.
The wind felt great against his cheek. His body rejoiced in the self expression he now took part of. He felt at peace.

Kyra smiled when the man joined in. She slowed down a little bit watching his feet. Damn he's good. she thought letting the thought hang there on the outside of her sheild so he could easily pick it up if he wanted to. She shrugged and went to dance with the male wolf but he and the female were laying down in the grass under a tree panting. She smiled again and she started going her real speed. Her moves blended together like an eligent dance. Her feet felt like they weren't even touching the ground. She wasn't singing anymore but she was dancing and her eyes were closed. She just let her feet take over and her body move on their own.

Ulruu made a noise that sounded like a laugh. He spun around and stopped a split second to observe her style. His amber eyes caught what most people would miss. Her touches with the ground were light as a feather. His brow raised at her raising the level.
Always ready for a challenge, Ulruu leaped in with his heart. He recalled the his days of elves. Their lighthearted laughter tinkling in the air. Music softly playing in the distance. Merry making was the elves' favorite pasttime as it were.

Kyra started to spin around and stopped spinning to bend and reach for her toes then she smoothly spun out of it and started to dance again. Her eyes were still closed and her head was held low as she let her mind go and didn't even think about her shield anymore. She just danced and started to murmmer words of song she always danced to. She danced to that beat as the words, the drums and guitar notes played in her head. It was Untouched by Veronicas "I feel so untouched and i want you so much, That i just can't resist you but it's not enough to say that i miss you"
((that song has just been going throught my head over and over again.))

Curiously, Ulruu paused for a beat to examine his dance partner's thoughts. A beautiful melody strummed through his head. He picked up the words to the song in his own mind. He grinned at the dance.
However, he couldn't shake the feeling that something was up. After all, there was always an ulterior motive with beings. Ulruu still wondered if the entire scenario was just an illusion. Unfortunately, he wasn't even sure if he was dead or not.
Is this all just a dream? Ulruu questioned in his mind.

Kyra felt his mind in hers for a moment but didn't push him out. She actually ignored his presence in her mind for the dance. She figured he may have wanted to know the beat she was dancing to. Kyra did a fance turn but her arm brushed up against him. She ignored it and thought nothing of it. All she did was focus on the beat of the song in her head along with the words of the verses.

Ulruu felt the brush of her arm against his body. His body naturally rejected physical touch for he recoiled at the contact. The magic was lost. His light steps halted abruptly. Contact with her mind was lost as he retreated into his own mind.
Ulruu grimaced at the loss of magical connection with the forest. This was why he had so much trouble fitting in with the elves. At some point, it all had to end for him. They could go on for eternity, but he had to stop. The forest looked ordinary to him as he looked at it again offhandedly.
