I took my blood sugar two hours after eating (more or less) and it was right where it should be: 140. So I went about my evening routine for another hour or so and took it again. It was 70. Now the only things I can think of that affected this were: I took a relaxing bath and was only drinking water.
My question is this (It's a two-parter): What caused the sudden drop? Should I be worried if this happens again?
Before you all get too worried, I will reassure you that I quickly got some non-diet soda pop and am about to check my blood sugar again; I just wondered and can't find anything online about it.
Thanks in advance!

i have had this happen before as well. There are a few different reasons why it could have happened...I will tell you the ones that have come from my experience.
Whether on a pump or insulin, if you start using a new site for insulin your body can use it quicker.
Depending on what food you eat, the carbs are digested slower or faster. High fat content causes sugars to digest slower and can cause a peak/fall later than usual.
The bath...warm water increases blood flow, and insulin absorbancy
I wouldn't worry too much about it unless it becomes a frequent thing. Then you and your doctor might need to do some adjustments to your insulin regiment. I am currently in the process of it because my schedule has changed drastically and my old pattern was not working. Anyways, hope this is a bit helpful!!!

First of all, sorry for not replying sooner. Secondly, thanks for your advice. I'm not on insulin or a pump (I'm currently only taking pills; I'm type 2).
