Every year, there is an event on gaia known as the Gaian-Sponsored Nudity Event. This is it's 8th year.
Gaia members volunteer as nudists, and people pay them to stay as nude as a gaian avatar can get and be active for 2 weeks. It always raises a ton of gold for charity, because all the gold the nudist is paid by their sponsors, they send on to whatever charity(-ies) they are the official nudist for.
I'm wondering if perhaps we can open an official 'quest' thread for the ball, simply to keep track of how much gold we have and still need, and once that is a month old, someone can become the official nudist for it, and a few days before the ball, we will receive all their sponsorship gold, which would really help! Lot's of people will sponsor to help out the ball!!

I think that's a great idea!
Would you be willing to be in charge of it Luna? I ask because I know that I'm a host and most of the crew have their hands full with fund-raising and plot-planning.
I'd be happy to help you and brainstorm if you'd volunteer to be in charge. ^^
What does everyone else think about this?

And I can go nude for it, I'm going nude for another thread though so when people sponsor me they have to specify which thread they want the gold to go to or it will be split in between.
We really need to have a meebo meeting! There's a lot to discuss around now. 3nodding
I can probably set up a thread next weekend, I have time off for Easter and since my family doesn't do anything for Easter I will have plenty of time to set it up. I'll just need information on how much gold we need overall, and how much of that goal we have.
But I'd really like to get some feedback from others as well, which is why we need a meebo meeting!! scream

I was going to participate this year, I think setting up an official quest thread would be a really good idea.
