"Every scar is a lesson...So, a few days ago I pre-ordered my copy of Pokemon SoulSilver, as well as Pokemon HeartGold for my little brother. As I was doing so, this realization came to me: These are the first games I've ever pre-ordered.
I've also been talking to some people recently who imported those games from Japan. This is something I have yet to do, not sure if I ever will or not. I like to be able to read what's going on, and I only know english.
So, for the sake of conversation, how many games have you pre-ordered or imported in the past? I know Pokemon isn't the only new release, I think there's a new Final Fantasy game that was released yesterday or something that a few of my friends had pre-ordered. ...Every battle a test of what you have learned."

I have had.... Two games pre-ordered... I believe lol Brawl as well as the new WoW coming out. Dunno if I'll even be in town when that comes out =
I generally don't pre-order things. If I want the game, I'll get it eventually. When it's for sure that I have extra money. Not "just the right amount" =b
When it's a game your really, really want, it's nice to get it as soon as possible and be sure they don't run out on you lol

"Every scar is a lesson...I actually went to the midnight release for brawl, even though I didn't have a copy on order. I just went to get my a** kicked in the tourney, I never expected the mechanics to be so different from Mellee.
Had I known then what I know now, I would have kicked some serious a** as either Sonic or Ike instead of being juggled around as Dark Link. ...Every battle a test of what you have learned."

Haha, I'd have to say that Link isn't as awesome as how he was.. Buuut, that's okay. We all still love him for being his awesome self =b
Waiting for Brawl, there was Mario Kart =3 Some lil' kid kept watching me over my shoulder... It was a bit awkward... Vyper had a countdown going. XD (Chees made it)
I want to say I have pre-ordered one more.... But I just can't put my finger on it... Well, I know that I pre-ordered Phantom Hourglass, but moved that over to Brawl.. But there must have been one more...

Hubby and I pre-order all the time. It's nice because with a pre-order you know you're going to get it as soon as it comes out and depending on where you placed your pre-order and how far in advance you placed it you can pay a little more here and there when you've got extra. We usually have games paid for before they're released that way.

Yea, I do love that aspect of pre-ordering. Even if I didn't actually use it too often XD (I don't go to the Mall all that often) Being able to make payments when you want for however much you want. Amazing. lol

I know there si a huge list of pre orders I have made, close to about 30 so I will just mention the midnight releases I have been too. Halo 2 Halo 3 Halo ODST The Wii (was sooooo much fun) SSB:Brawl
and kinda the release for the left4 dead games, stayed up till 4 in the morning waiting for steam to activate my copy XD
If I did not have an R4 for my DS I would have prolly imported more, but I can get my Oendan games from the safety of the internet now XD

Dude, that Wii release was awesome! People yelling down the line, "I got a game of Mario Cart up!!" It was amazing playing games with people not 100ft away from you and not knowing them. But, we were all there for the same thing.

"Every scar is a lesson...So, I'm finally getting around to prying myself from the game I preordered and got on Monday, Pokemon SoulSilver.

So... How would you rate it compared to the other Pokemon games?

"Every scar is a lesson...It's alright, though I prefer Platinum. I'm just irritated by the lack of a poketch and instead having this pokegear thing. The fact that you can't delete phone numbers is irritating.
Other than that, I'm liking it. ...Every battle a test of what you have learned."

"Every scar is a lesson...It's not a bad game, at least. Set up like every pokemon game I've ever played, With some differences. Much more optional touchscreen use that Diamond, Pearl, and Platinum. The graphics... I don't see how they could get much better on a DS system.
It just seems that there are certain things I will have to do on Platinum instead of SoulSilver (like breeding) ...Every battle a test of what you have learned."
