Ok. I want to roleplay but the plot has gone super fart flat. I am thinking about moving the original to the Recent History and starting over.
With a contest.
People PM me their basic plot idea (in 1000 words or less), and I will post them anonymously here for people to pick. Winner gets their plot featured in the roleplay AND 10k pure, or an item worth 10k of their choosing.

I'm totally game for it; I've been craving to roleplay Charlie, because I feel like I put a lot of effort into him as my avatar sometimes without doing anything. xD

I was hoping that someone would hopefully bring this up. A reason why I kinda had to stop participating in the role play of "As the Gears Turn" was b/c everything just seemed to get astray from the original plot, and I got lost. ^^

Yeah, I've seen the RP drought. I'm game for it but I don't know if I can come up with anything. >___>
Day-to-day RP was what the current was supposed to be, right?

Glad people are interested in me revamping the roleplay. I am moving the thread tonight. It will be available to read if anyone wants to.
As the Gears Turn was supposed to be a day to day roleplay yes. I would also hope that other people could make roleplays of their own day to day lives. Like what I write in my journal. That way we could always do our own little story writing should we choose.

I probably won't submit an idea (I suck at RP ideas) but yeah, I'm glad you bought it up too xD I haven't even checked what had been happening recently and I felt kind of bad. I just couldn't keep up with it.
and I might start doing that journal writing like you just suggested. I need to work on my storytelling anyways

I'm afraid I have about zero inspiration for plot right now, but hell, I still love to RP. I'll participate eagerly in whatever you throw at me and I'll even see what I can do about herding Miss Pieta back online. 8D
In the mean time I'll try to maybe thing of something. D:

Alas, I may not be able to. My times seem to be off kilter with the rest of Gaia. I'm usually here early in the morning, and in the afternooons, but nothing later than 5. Being in the SouthEast makes it more apparent that I'm kinda cut off from the world.
Which sucks big, rotten, stinky eggs.

Oh no, that's not what I meant! I was thinking about everyone making their own little journals just to write in if there is nobody around and they want to play with their character. Day to day life can still be done in the big RP, and I encourage it heavily.
I am also looking for plot ideas for the new RP once I start it up again. 3nodding

AGh. See this is what I mean. I'll be poofing to ceramics class within the hour, and people start popping up.
Related to the topic, I could come up with plenty of RP ideas, but most probably wouldn't last very long. The longest RP I've ever done ((Still going on for about 5 months now)) is on another site. And that one I simply pulled out of thin air. Also, I.. have no real use for my journal. I think it died from the lack of use. Maybe I can revive it.

The journals sound interesting, and I guess I don't use my journal space for much else. It just might confuse some people, since I do use this account for other RP stuffs, but whatever. My current journal has all of one entry and it's my character sheet for Aekea, so I could probably just dedicate it to this.
I'm really bad at pre-laid plot stuff. I'm much better at spontaneous development once the core is set in motion. sweatdrop

I was told a million times of all the people in my way let's go back to spontanious. Spontanious sounds good right? It's got like, two O's, two S's, and a few N's. It's got 3 if you count the U as an upside down N. and then it has those other less important letters, but noone cares about them anyway. how I had to keep on trying and get better ev'ry day
