Chapter Two

The Beginning of Silver Lune

Kalista had been sitting inside her waterfall for a while now. A couple of years perhaps. And all during those years, many men and women had passed, wandering through the desert, their eyes falling upon Silver Lune. They often went to drink from the waterfalls cool clear spring waters, but they never stayed, for Kalista knew they were not worthy of building her town.

As the sun was slowly setting one afternoon in the early days of spring, a small man was wandering. He was trying to find somewhere to house his people. He saw the flowin fields of Silver Lune and decided to check it out.
"Wow...this is great." He said to himself. "Absolutely beautiful..." His voice trailed off.
Staggering slightly the man headed towards the waterfall, and cupping his hands, ladeled water to his face so he could drink.

The cool water trickled down his face, and into his lips. He looked up and let out a refreshed sigh. "Thank you Lunar Goddess!" He said softly. He knew that the Lunar Goddess was the creator of all things good, so he thanked her for the good water the re hydrated him.

Suddenly there was a soft giggle. The man stood up fast. "Who's there!?!?" He asked.
"It is I, Kalista, the Lunar Goddess." She spoke as she walked out of the waterfall, the water parting as she stepped through. "I see you have found my utopia. And I am glad, for you, Kingsley Fireheart shall build my villiage, Silver Lune!"

Kingsley was dumbfounded for a moment. "You want me to build your town?"
"Yes, my god man, right here, in my honour, and if you do, you and all your villiagers will be blessed with happiness."

This is too good to be true...But this is the thing I have been looking for... He thought.
"Kalista...I would be honoured to make your town."

The next day, Kingsley got to work...and every day after that, for 3 whole years. Until finally, the last piece of construction was finished. And Silver Lune was born.

Kalista went back inside her waterfall, back to her home in her realm, and Kingsley, his family, and his people, lived in the Villiage. The mayorship of Silver Lune has been passed down generation to generation in the Fireheart family.

Now, One hundred and fifty years later, Dennis is mayor, and disaster could slowly strike...
