0-HELL_HOUND-0 Alini pranced around the island, excited to hear of an up and coming party. She loved parties. Her tail swayed back and forth happily as she smiled brightly. "OH YEAH~!" She shouted out to herself. "Party party party~!!!" a_roar_in_the_dark He chuckled when he saw her frolicking about. "Quite the engetic thing ain't she", he said to himself." She looked like fun so her walked up to her. "Hey. You seem excited about something." He grinned at her and hoped she wouldn't find him forward. 0-HELL_HOUND-0 The purple female squeaked in a mix of joy and being surprised. "EEE! I am! theres going to be a party sooooooooon!" Her tail began to wag faster as her smile grew bigger. "And boy do i love parties~! Do you love parties?" Alini was WAY too excited and forgot to introduce herself. a_roar_in_the_dark He grinned at her. He mood was definitely infectious. "Can't say I've been to many parties. But I've heard fun things. What's it going to be about?" And then he remembered his manners. "I'm Xhei by the way." He dipped a small mock bow and smiled at her. 0-HELL_HOUND-0 "A RAVE PARTY!!" She shouted in glee. "One of the BEST parties there is~!" Alini gasped, putting a paw to her mouth. "OH! I'm sorry, i forgot to introduce my self. I'm Alini~!" Giggling, she spun around with a smile on her muzzle before stopping to look at him. "Really? What type of parties have you been too?" Curiosity rang in her voice. a_roar_in_the_dark "A few birthday parites, a ball...that kind of thing. Never anything to be excited as you are I think." He nodded when she said her name. "It is nice to meet you...say...would you like someone to go with you to your party? I've never been and it does sound fun, from the glee you're showing over it." 0-HELL_HOUND-0 "Nice to meet you too, xhei!" She pranced in place and giggled. A squee came from her as he asked that. "I would LOVE to take you! It's so much fun to take others with you to parties. Especially raves. Or masquerade parties!" Her paws stomped with excitement. "This is goinf to be SO MUCH FUN!!!!!" Alini couldn't resist but to start running around in circles. a_roar_in_the_dark "Really!" This time it was his turn to hop with excitement. "Thank you! So when do we go? And how long do we have to wait?" And then she started going around in circles and he felt his head spin just watching. "Woah. Keep that up and you're going to make dizzy there Girly-girl." 0-HELL_HOUND-0 As the horrid question of, 'How long do we have to wait', she frowned and stopped her running. "Sadly, until tomorrow... Night. BUT AT LEAST IT'S AN EPIC WAIT!" She tackled him from excitement and giggled. "So, what should we do in the mean time?!" a_roar_in_the_dark "Hey, hey! Woah! Oooof. Ow." He shook out the fizziness in head from her tackling him then answered. "Well if you're going to keep that up I might not survive until tomorrow night." But she was cute none the less and he was rather amazingly comfortable with her one top of him. "And I dunno what to, the obvious thing is something to help you get rid of some of that pent up energy. Though I'm not sure how we'd do that." He put his head on his paws to think. "What is something high energy that would tire you out?" 0-HELL_HOUND-0 Alini rolled off of him. "Sorry. I'm just sooooo excited!" She wiggled while laying down before stopping. "No clue... make the party come faster?" A rush of laughter came out of her. "If only, if only...~" She took her paw and started to draw random shapes in the dirt. a_roar_in_the_dark He practically bounced up on his feet in an amazingly quick and smooth motion. "Well if anything you definitely need a run there little miss." And then he shot off in a random direction at top speed. "Come on! Come catch me!" He yelled over his shoulder. 0-HELL_HOUND-0 "HEY! Thats... not fair?" She jolted up and began to chase hi mas well. "YOU BETTER RUN! I will get you~!" She yelled back at him as she ran after him. "You can run, but you can't hide!"

a_roar_in_the_dark He chuckled and put his head down to streamline himself. "Oh I'm not trying to hide little lady!" He laughed outright and concentrated on his footfalls so as not to trip. "And what, pray tell, do you want if you do catch me!?" 0-HELL_HOUND-0 She was silent for a moment as she continued to chase him. "...Uhhhhhhhhhmmm... I HAVE NO CLUE?! BUT I WILL GET YOU!" Being as oblivious as she was at times, she was totally unaware of the rock in front of her. A loud squeak came from her muzzle as she tripped and fell. a_roar_in_the_dark He heard the cry and immediately skidded to a halt and almost tripped himself. But as soon as he had his balance he was off again and at her side in an instant. He reached down to rub his muzzle against hers. "Are you alright? I didn't mean for you to get hurt. Oh please tell me nothings broken...oh I thought you'd know to watch for the rocks. Come on Sweets. You gotta be okay. You're my new friend and we're going to a party tomorrow." 0-HELL_HOUND-0 Giggling, she stumbled up and back to her feet. "I'm A-OK~! And i can be a klutz, sometimes. So no worries there. We'll still be able to go to the party together!" She pranced around him to show she was completely fine, aside from the small scratch she had gotten on her side that she had failed to notice. "Anyway..." She tackled him and giggled. "GOTCHYA~!" a_roar_in_the_dark "But you have a scrat...AHHhhhh! Oooof." He lay there with a look of derision in his face for a moment. "You know, if I didn't know better, you did that on purpose." He poked at her playfully. "And you really gotta quite tackling me, or at least give a warning first or youre gonna break bones one of there times." He sighed and then reached over to lick her paw. "But at least you're okay." 0-HELL_HOUND-0 Yelping, she jumped off of the male, him having hit a ticklish spot. "I Won't break your bones... Wait, will i?" She giggled and offered to help him up. a_roar_in_the_dark "Well you might with all this pouncing." He kindly declined her offer for help and got up himself. "Ticklish are we?" He said with a devilish grin and tackled her himself and began process of finding the spots that would make her scream with laughter.

0-HELL_HOUND-0 She shook her self. "I see-EEEEEEE!" Alini flailed and kicked and screemed while laughing as he tickled her. "N-n-n-n-nooooooooo!!!" a_roar_in_the_dark He laughed with her. She was a joy to watch flail. "Oh yes, yes, yes." And he began to tickle her harder. "Didn't you say something about getting me? Well I think i just got you." 0-HELL_HOUND-0 Alini continued to giggle, flail and laugh. "B-but you... CHEATED!" She yelped playfully. "Meeeeeercyyyy!!!" a_roar_in_the_dark "Oh really now? How did I cheat? You seem to like to surprise me too." He gave her one last round of tickling then stepped back with a huge stupid grin on his face. "Tired yet?" 0-HELL_HOUND-0 As he stopped, she gasped for air. "Yes... I... Am... A bit tired... Why?" She layed there on her back with all four of her legs up in the air.

a_roar_in_the_dark He chuckled at her. "There really is never a a dull moment with you is there?" He lay down to catch his breath after laughing so hard. "And I ask because I wanted to know if I'd done the job tuckering you out and releasing some of your restless energy and I guess I did. Wanna go find a quiet spot to sleep for the night? Tomorrow will come faster that way."

She clenched her stomach as she slipped out a few more giggles and then a sigh. The purple stomach laid on the ground as Alini flicked her tail, the colors seeming to rush around. "I... Guess we could sleep now. But i---" Before she finished her sentence, a yawn escapes her delicate mouth. "... Okay, i'm sleepy." She admitted as she curled her tail around her side and rested her head on her paws.

He tilted his head at her curiously when she yawed and laid down. "You're a strange creature. Aren't you worried that something will come along and find us if we're out in the open." But he shrugged then a lay down beside her, for warmth and security of course. He curled his tail around and laid his head over her neck. "Well this is cozy. Tell me if you're uncomfortable." And he closed his eyes but kept his ears open and alert.

She mumbled and flicked her tail around him. "Cozy, mhmm." Her soft and tired voice sounded a bit dreamy as she spoke. "We... Don't need to worry, do we? Who would harm us, huh?" She asked, her eyes closing slowly.

He chucked and closed his eyes too. Perhaps she was right. "I guess not," he murmured softly. He kept his ears open and was awake for a long while after she went to sleep but eventually he slept too.
TIME SKIP
It was late morning by the time the couple woke. The sun was bright and the dew had burned off. Though the day still smelled fresh and new. Xhei yawned and stretched and then grinned. It would definitely be a beautiful day. Softy he nudged Alini. "You awake? It's far pat time to greet the day Miss Hyper."

She softly blinked and yawned as she awoke. Moaning, she stretched out her delicate limbs. Light blue eyes trailed up to look at the male before her. "Wh-wha?" She looked up to the sky. "What time is it?"

He grinned at the tired look on her face. "Must be around ten or eleven. It's not late afternoon, but it's not early either." Stretching, he loosened tired muscles and mimicked her. "Dunno when you were planning to get up but I don't usually sleep the day away. No matter what I'm doing at night." HE took some time to smooth and clean sleep ruffled fur. "Speaking of tonight, where is this party of yours? And will it take very long for us to get there? Cuz we should head out now if it will."

The sleepy expression on her face busted out into what looked like shock. "Oh geeze! Have i... We... REALLY been sleeping that long?" Alini looked around and sighed. "It's a good distance, we need to start moving NOW!" The nikku shot up and stood there as she looked of into the direction they needed to go.

He outright laughed at the look on he face and finished putting his tail to rights. "Alright, alright. I'm ready. Lets go." He padded right up next to her and tried to get ready for the run he knew she'd put him through.

"Well, okay! but we only have... who knows how long to get there. So get ready!" She flicked her tail around as her gaze looked around the area to check if it was good enough for a nice run. Once she had approved of the area, she darted off. "BETTER KEEP UP!" She shouted to him.

"Oh don't you worry. I'll keep up," he muttered more to himself than to her since she'd already taken off. He kept pace and followed about a tail length behind her. But he did wonder how long it would take them to get there. There was no way he could run like this for more than a few minuets at time. He hoped she knew that...not that it was such an imposition to follow her swishing tail. He was surprised, but he really didn't mind the view.
