...did all the roleplays die? D:
Oh, and hi!
I'm Kaitlyn. I like romance roleplays and pretty much anything but high-tech stuff. I would consider myself "literate" and I am into more mature roleplays. I mean, not the roleplays that are all like, "Boy meets girl and they fall in love instantly".
...I mean, come on. I like intersting plots that will go on for a while.
So, yes. That's pretty much it...
<3
Sincerely, Freaky

Also, for role-plays to have an interesting plot and way to role-play, it takes a long time. You need to set out the plot right, get all the information, have it all easy to read and understand, keep a constant level of things interesting, maps/detailed locations. There is quiet a lot, once you have gotten all of that set and you can start role-playing, it can last up to a year or so. I was once in a role-play called Tears of Blood, a Mid. lit. to Adv. lit. role-play set in another world with a whole different culture and landscape and details to mana and chi and magic. It started early in the year then died to the end because of exams, and a need in change of pace. Also, I am currently working on my own role-play that is a joint creation with one of my friends in my own guild. We have been working on it for about six months now, and we tried it before, but it died due to not a good base line, but because we are taking our time with it, hopefully it will last longer.
Not to be rude or anything about this guild, but because a lot of them are quick made ones, they tend to die out fast, with a few exceptions. If a person was to make a role-play that was set around what everyone liked, had detail to the point of it blowing your mind by the time you read it all, then you know you found the right role-play. Once that is set, most likely it would last a while.
Here are two examples of very detailed role-plays: Note: One is more completed than the other, and yes they are the ones I mentioned before the ToS one is a remake. This is just to show you what I am on about, but promotion to make you join =/=
ÞrØj∑cT (Not complete, 6 months work) Tears of Blood (Near completion, 6-8 months work)
