ninja I'd say the scariest thing about Twilight fans, are the Twilight moms. Honestly if they were 40 year old men going crazy over a 17 year old girl, this nation would be like lock the mofos up! But no! Apparently it's perfectly acceptable for 40 year old women to lose it over Taylor Lautner. Something is seriously wrong here...... ninja

We are most definitely in trouble. We may be inheriting the world, but they run it currently.

Where did they even think of that crap? I mean come on, REAL VAMPIRES DON'T FRICKEN SPARKLE!!!!!! Stepeny Meyers or what her name is is ruining vampires! I keep telling my mom that, but she is "addicted to the twilight saga". She has watched every movie made over 10 times. Is twilight like a flu because if it is i'm getting the heck out of here.

It's been diagnosed. It's called "Twilight Fever", but it's only contagious to those dumb enough to read the book.

Not exactly. There are those who simply read Twilight just because it is a book. It's not dumb, it's the right way to be. If haters hate without reading the book, their hatred is only based on those they hear or read over the media- in other words, it's not defined at all, and hardly fair. But if a hater hates because he/she's read the book, well now. That's better.

I've read all four books, actually. And I'm not bubbling to my lips at all.

You have a point person above me. I read it because I read all the books my friends suggested, so when one girl suggested Twilight... I was like, sure, why not?
Something amusing, when she was talking about Edward for the first time, well, I thought she said Edward COLON... like you small intestine. Yeah.

Well, being the crazy sociologist/psychologist/criminologist, I can give some insight to the oddity of the interest of the mothers. (especially because Taylor Lautner is seventeen--at least I'm 95% sure). The gender roles set up by men have made it where if a grown man would be interested in a seventeen year old girl, it would be seen as deviance. Like the saying cradle robbing. However, it is not looked onwhen the roles are reversed, because of those gender roles. As our "society" has evolved, we see more problems, and other rules have been set up, like seeing female teachers who have relationships with their minor students. Especially as men who have a relationship with an older woman are more often praised (such as : wow! dude, you dated an older hott woman, awesome), and the women are called cougars. This is starting to become less permissible, however as equal rights for minorities also means equal punishment, and now that the truth--that men can also be raped is being put to the front. So, we in the Y generation are becoming more aware of events and inequalities. So, when we say "hey that doesn't seem fair", such as this predicament, we are learning the inequalities that plague our "society", and want to make a change.
