First Impression: A cheerful, independent, fun loving tomboy of a girl, always game for fun and adventure.
Personality: Adela is a light hearted girl, keen on fun and adventure. When her friends are busy with other things she can be easily lonely. Though usually those are the times that she will go wandering alone, in hopes of either meeting someone new or finding adventure, however both was always best. A typical red head she can be spunky and hot tempered, though she is rarely angry. A bit of a joker she's not above teasing those she holds dear, as they know that it is harmless fun.
History: Adela's story is a little sad. As as basket and foal she never knew her real parents. She had met her brother and Abloec had told her the truth of her living with him when she had started asking why she didn't look like him. Not long after that they ran into her brother while out enjoying the late summer sun, and one of her sisters. While she got on well with her brother and grew very fond of him, she had the opposite reaction to her sister Telnara who teased and picked on Adela. After this she only met her brother a few more times but their bond grew. As she became an adult, she was encouraged to do the things she wanted to. So one day she is out exploring, looking for where might be a good place to go for some adventure when she meets her brother, and a mare that she finds out is her mother. Getting on well with her mother she is content with her family relations, though there is not a close bond between them that she sees with her mother and brother. But any bond is better than no bond.
Never having found it in her to ask up front why she was given away, or why her father wants nothing to do with her. Her thoughts on this show up in her insecurities about her looks, thinking her father only wanted good looking children, but also in her deep routed fear of abandonment. She knows many of the people she meets will just be passing through her life, but anyone that she grows to care for will find that she worries about loosing them. Luckily this has not totally taken her over, she can be perfectly normal and happy most of the time, loving to have fun and try new things.
