History: Hector was born on Sabaody Archipelago. His father was a vice-admiral and his mother a nurse at Marineford who died from illness shortly after his birth. His only sibling was his twin sister, Emilia. With a vice-admiral as their father, they were quickly taken into Marineford and began training at age eight. With their father constantly occupied by marine work and detail, it was their mentors that took care of them and trained them. Both possessed great potential. At age ten, Hector had already become a full-fledged marine along with his sister.
At age thirteen he became a captain, with his sister as his lieutenant. It was during his missions that he soon received the nickname, The Guillotine. When he became of age fifthteen, the government saw it fit to transfer him and he soon became a member of Cipher Pol 9, while his sister became a captain and remained at Marineford.
Hector was originally offered a devil fruit when joining CP9, but refused as he was a member of the growing christain society and believed the devil fruits of being a tool for the weak and powerless. After refusing the devil fruit, he was instead given a katana made of seastone. As a member of CP9, he learned the techniques required and trained mission by mission until he became eighteen. At that time he received grave news that his sister, Emilia had been executed on charges of treason.
Hector immediately returned to Marineford to learn the truth of it and discovered that the government had let a vicious criminal escape. They used his sister as the scapegoat for the escape, accusing her of releasing the criminal. It was by his father's hand that she was executed. In an act of personal vendetta, Hector attacked Marineford, killing thirteen marine officers, two captains, and his father. After being labeled a traitor by the marines, he fled Marineford under the last name, Guillotine. He escaped with his sister's remains in a casket on a small rowboat, vowing to return to destroy Marineford and dethrone the World Government.
Since then he has traveled and returned with a ship, the Flying Dutchman and created the crew name, the Guillotine Pirates to begin his journey of vengeance.
