I've decided to restart this RP of mine that I had out in the main of Gaia, because to be honest I've lost interest in the rest of Gaia except for the guild here. If you wish to join or if you had been involved in the RP before please reapply by either PMing your requests to me or posting in the topic. I usually take whomever comes along so once you make your request to join feel free to post.

There may be minor spoilers in this plot so for those of you not wanting to be spoiled about things then read no further. ^_^ There's a posibility of main characters dying so if you're not okay with that idea you might not want to join either.

It's been roughly five years since Yugi and Atem dueled in the Ceremonial Battle. Yugi won the battle sending his closest friend and soul mate back to where he belonged -the Afterlife. The five years that followed were the hardest on Yugi most of all; feeling like he had lost a very important part of himself he was never really the same after the duel. While the close knit group always remained close to one another there was little any of them could do to bring Yugi out of his apparent depression. Joey's antics, Tea's kind words and Tristan's humor did nothing to improve Yugi's outlook on things. He longed to see Atem once more...and he vowed that he would find a way to the Afterlife somehow.

This is an two-tiered RP meaning that there's actions going on in two different places at the sametime. Locale Number One is the Egyptian Afterlife and Locale Number Two is Domino City. Those in the Afterlife are not permitted to interact with those in Domino City until a character from there dies or unless the player comes up with an ingenious way of doing so. All 'ingenious ways' must be okayed with me first before they're put into effect.

I have a tendency to use the TV dub names because they're easier to remember for me; feel free to use the japanese names if they suit you better. ^_^ To play a character please send me a PM with the character's name in the subject that you wish to play and you'll be added to the list. If you wish to play two characters please feel free to tell me that too. For this RP I will not be accepting made up characters at the start if the need arises I might change my mind but don't wish too much for that.

::Rules & Guidlines::

-All standard Gaia Rules apply so please be sure to keep this PG-13.

-Respect the other players, admins of this topic and yourselves.

-My ruling on something is the final say in all instances. Do not argue with me once my decision has been made.

-All posting methods allowed. This means I don't care how long your post is be it a paragraph a one liner or whatever. This also means that I accept all posting methods be it story form, italics for actions, *'s, ::'s or anything else. I've RPed online for five plus years now and have seen many different methods so none of them annoy me nor do I see them as a refelction of a person's role playing skills.

-In joining I expect all my players to keep up with the role play. This means that I don't want people coming in and asking for summaries of what happened. Please, back track to your last post and read what took place and then post after you've caught up.

-For those who don't know what God-modding is...By my definition is the action of having an all powerful, flawless characters that are perfect all the time. It's also the action of controlling someone else's characters actions without their approval. Also, using out of character information and applying it to in character situations, using information that's in descriptions or any other information that your CHARACTOR can't know. If you do it and I see you doing my definition of godmodding I'll call you out on it. So just keep that in mind.

-The whole purpose of group RPing is to interact with others and as many others as you can. Yes there will be times when you have those alone moments, those reflective type posts and I have no problem with that at all. However, I dislike heavily when people join something with the intent of only interacting with one other character. If you can't deal with interacting with EVERYONE in the RP don't join.

-If someone needs to leave for an extended period of time please inform us and let someone else that you trust play your character.

-All pairings allowed for romance -Yaoi, Yuri and Hetro. I do have my personal tastes in this department but I have intentions of foisting those tastes onto others. Feel free to pair whomever you like I don't mind really.

Atem woke up in the afterlife in his room. he smiled a little and streached.

'aibou....'

oh right, he had left yugi. he often woke up and called for yugi. it never failed. it had been five years, but time didn't seem to matter in the afterlife. all those whom walked in the afterlife had was time. atem had been kept busy for the most part, but when he woke up or went to sleep, the pain still returned.

"i should have told him..."

he said with a sigh. he loved being where he belonged, being able to return to his friends: mahado, mana, kalim, shada, isis and his family as well: his father, and uncle, along with his cousin set.

Well, there was nothing to be done now. Atem had been doing some research for himself to try and return to the present to see yugi, but there seemed to be no spell for that, not one he could find.

atem looked at the door, clintching his blanket tightly within his fingers. he sighed and looked down.

"another day in paradise..."

he muttered to himself, a tear falling onto his hand as he griped his blankets tighter. he didn't respond to seth's call, though, he didn't feel like it.

Mokuba grinned a little.

I suppose so.

He walked farther into the shop and looked around at the displays. Then he walked over to them to get a better look at them.

Hey! Here's that new card set Seto was going on about yesterday. I can't believe you already got these.

He looked over at Yugi with a hint of suspicion in his eyes.

I thought these weren't supposed to be out until next week.

Set sighed a little and knocked on the door again not really wanting to burst into Atem's room like a commoner..

I know you're in there, My Pharaoh.

Yugi gave a weak chuckle as he watched him.

Well, they came in last night and I could hardly wait to get them out on the shelves. Hopefully, the company won't hear about it or else I'm sure Pegasus will give me an earful about it.

Then he looked even more sheepish.

I spent all last night opening a whole boxfull of them just so I could see how many of the rares I could come up with. it's an impressive booster pack, thats for sure.

Talking about the game seemed easier with Mokuba than with anyone else..

Oh...

Yugi turned and looked at the calendar and he frowned. He felt like he was losing days and weeks at a time. It had been like this for five long years now though and it had yet to change. He gave a soft chuckle.

I guess I'm losing it or something. Sorry, to hear about your brother having a hard time of this. Like I said it is an impressive pack though I would've thought that Pegasus would've given him all the specs on them. I guess not huh?

Yugi turned and started to arrange a few things on the back shelf his eyes flitting to the time -soon he'd be able to close up shop for the night and that would be a good thing. He could then lock himself away in the house and not come out until tomorrow.

Besides that how are things going for the kaiba brothers?

"let them wait..."

he said with a sigh, no he couldn't do that. he was pharaoh, and even if this was the afterlife, he still had obligations to full fill. he slowly got up and changed his clothing, walking to the door. he waited a moment, staring at the door, knowing full well that his cousin would not be that easy to rid himself of.
