Plot:
Yugi passes out in the museum and is transported into Yami's past, where no one knows him. What makes things worse is this time he is in a physical form. things turn bad when the palace gaurds think yugi as a imposter of the pharaoh.
Yugi is in love with Yami, and thinks Pharaoh Atemu as the same person as Yami. But Pharaoh Atemu is the ruler of Egypt, a God on Earth, a merciless ruler.
what will happen when yugi encounters his crush in his past?

Atem sat in his throne, waiting for something to happen. his life seemingly boreing at the moment,. there was no news of Bakura, and his advisors keeping him busy with small things that needed to be done in Egypt. he hated being so edgy about what was going on, but he needed to stop bakura.
As he sat there, he suddenly sensed something, a sennen item. it wasn't like the others, though it was really familar. he jerked his head up as if some one had called him from a day dream.
'what was that i felt?'
he wondered. could there be another sennen puzzle that no one knew about? that couldn't be possible

"The Memory Stele.."
Yugi thought to himself as he looked at the stone that raised several feet above him. He raised a hand towards it and touched the glass that covered it with a frown. His eyes flinting from the priest to the pharaoh on the slab of engraved stone.
"What could it all mean."
He wondered about it and the more he looked at it the more he felt drawn into it perhaps. He felt something odd starting to happen it was like he was being pulled towards it...he felt himself starting to slip away....slipping....slipping...
...He felt something hard beneath his face...a stone perhaps or something...he blinked and quickly came into conciousness. He sat up suddenly and looked around...he was in a darkened alleyway.
He rose and walked towards the light near-by. He walked out into the middle of a marketplace...a marketplace in ancient egypt.[/]i
W...what happened?
Yugi couldn't remember how he had gotten here. He looked down at the Puzzle and frowned -maybe it had something to do with the power of the item.

Atem jumped from his throne when he felt the sudden power jult.
"my pharaoh, what is it?"
one of the gaurds that were stationed by the doors asked him.
"you two, come with me. we are going to the market place."
the two gaurds, holding their spears in their hands tightly, looked at him. they wondered why he would need to go there, but who were they to argue with the pharaoh.
"yes sir."
they both said at the same time, bowing and then exiting to fetch three horses. atem walked outside the palace doors to wait for the gaurds with his horse.
"who could hold such a power that i can sense it. it feels so familar."
he asked himself, but he was knocked from his thoughts by the sound of running hooves. the gaurds had retured, one holding another horse, a white one, clearly the pharaohs.
"alright, lets be off."
atem said, jumping onto his horse and rushing off to the market place, informing the two that followed him of what he felt.

Yugi walked about the place amazed as he looked around. It didn't occure to him that he looked really out of place in his school uniform. Of course at the moment nothing occured to him except being amazed by his surroundings.
'How could I be here? This has gotta be some really intense dream.'
He walked out into the middle of a group of people and looked at them.
Excuse me, could you tell me where I am?
The people looked at him and backed away from him, pointing at his clothing and looking at him as if he was a demon or maybe even something worse than that.
Uhh, I guess not...
He sighed and took a few steps back from them then.
'It doesn't look like I'll get any help from them.'
He then walked along the edge of the marketplace away from the disturbance he had just caused. He wondered where he was or when he was and if he would ever waken from this odd dream.
'I wonder where Yami is and if he's alright.'
He hadn't seen the other nor felt his presence and this worried him too.
;I hope you're alright.'

"move said, make room for the pharaoh!"
the gaurds yelled from their horses. Atem rode behind them, all three of them riding as fast as they could.
"make way, i said!"
the gaurd yelled once more. Atem looked around, sensing the presance close by. atem looked around, trying to see past the groups of people. he couldn't find the power, though, there were too many people around.
"pharaoh, what is wrong?"
the gaurds yelled, noticing that atem had stoped, and was looking around for something
"the person is around here."
Atem yelled through the noise of the people, his horse dancing around as if paranoid about the large group of people.

Yugi heard the commotion and heard mention of a pharaoh and his eyes widened.
'I can't really be in ancient Egypt.'
He thought to himself. He frowned slightly. Was it normal for the pharaoh to be out looking for something or someone like this? He always thought that the pharaoh sent others out to do things like this. This must have been something really horrible.
Yugi looked around a moment and found a sidelong alley that ran along the marketplace and would give him a perfect vantage point for watch what happened. He didn't want to get involved of course, he obviously already really stood out anyway.
'I wonder who this pharaoh is anyway and why he's outside the palace.'
He sighed slightly his thoughts going back to Yami. He was worried about the other -maybe it was Yami they were all looking for and that made Yugi feel even worse about hiding here. He knew though, that his darker half could take care of himself. HE would jsut wait this out as long as he could.

Atem's horse started to get more frantic with the amount of people who had gather to see the rare sight of the pharaoh. this was why he didn't come out often seeing as people seemed to crowd around him.
"pharaoh, are you alright?"
asked one of the gaurds as they saw him trying to control his horse.
"yes, i'm fine."
atem told them. he slowly moved the horse down the street, unable to pin point where the power he felt was coming from. the crowds had moved out of his way, not wanting to get yelled at by him. whispers started up, wondering who the pharaoh was looking for and why he had not made an announcment to the people to help him. in all honesty, he didn't even know who this person looked like.
"maybe he after that weird boy."
one of the people yugi had talked to before whispered. they didn't realize that yugi was behind them. no one saw him, they were too caught up in the pharaoh, and their amazment by him made it hard for him to search.
atem moved his horse by the allyway yugi was in, looking around. yugi's height made it harder for atem to find yugi, but from where yugi was, he wold have a good enough view of the other to realize who he was.

Yugi watched the people gathering and heard the voices seemingly moving closer and he backed into the alleyway more. Then he heard someone mention the 'weird boy' and he frowned even more.
'What if they're looking for me? Or maybe it's Yami their talking about.'
He backed deeper into the alleyway, though not enough to keep him out of sight of anyone or to keep himself from seeing everything within a small space. Then he saw something that amazed him. A figure atopped a horse, bedecked in gold and linens...and with the same tri colored hair as he had.
'Yami.....?'
He blinked several more times. So Yami was here and he was alright. Yugi was relived of that fact but something bothered him. Why was the other dressed in something other than the famed school unform that his light always wore. Normally, they dressed alike after all...so why wasn't this the case this time around. He frowned and without thinking he walked closer to the figure.

Atem looked around still, wondering who he was looking for. everyone looked the same. he knew he would need this person to step forward for him to find them. he didn't think that would happen. he was getting ready to signal his gaurds to give up for now, not wanting to keep this scene going for much long, when he realized that the crowd around him scilenced. aside from a few whispers and gasps, it was completly scilent. atem looked around, all the peoples eyes were looking in the same spot. he started to follow the eyes, until he heard a small voice call out a name. Atem didn't need to follow the looks anymore as he turned to see a look alike of him. his eyes widened as he looked at the doublegegger. it took him a while to realize anything else about he boy, like his odd atire and the puzzle that atem himself wore.
"what...did you call me?"
he asked in a whisper as he jumped from his horse. finally he looked yugi over, and saw the sennen puzzle.
"it's you...."
he said, not really knowing how to react to the look-a-like and the second puzzle

Yami...?
Yugi blinked up at the other. He had never seen him look like this before. this was getting a little more weird than he was used to. Once the other got off the horse though he found himself a little afraid as he saw him look at the Puzzle.
What is it?

"pharaoh, did you find him?"
the two gaurds asked, seeing atem dismont his horse. they looked over and saw yugi there, the look-a-like. they gasped and dismounted their horses as well. they ran to the pharaoh's side to protect him, holding their spears at the ready if the unknown person were to attack atem.
Atem looked at yugi for a moment, not really knowing what to say. he grabed ahold of the sennen puzzle that was around yugi's neck, and yanked it closer to him so he could look at it better. it looked just like his, but how?
after a moment of examionation, atem looked at yugi, still holding the puzzle as if a way to keep yugi from running.
"what did you call me?"
he asked him, the name registering to him once more. the way it was said, told atem that it was a name.
