=P
Ever been out on the Island? Share any trips you've ever had here. What do you think (honestly) or what have you heard about how Long Islanders talk/act/do?
I'm curious!
I can give tons of examples, but only cause I live here xP But one things for sure, going to Montauk in the summer is such a hassle x_x

I believe my friend's father taught her cousin how to drive a stick shift there in an ice storm.
That's the extent of my experience.

Haha. All of my roommates and a huge chunk of my friends are orignally from Long Island. I'm often asked if I'm from there. The few times I've gone home with them have been fun. Like Irish Day. A made up holiday only celebrated in Long Beach. Every other day a random pop punk band from Long Island adds me on myspace. It's funny.

Hey Rus, my English teacher has personally been to Mary's Grave. Three times. Well, the area anyway. He and his friend DID find an old looking rock in the middle of a few trees and stumps (in the shape of a Diamond) as it was told to be in.
After he was walking back to his car, his driver side window exploded from the inside out.
Creepy s**t.
Anyway, besides Kings Park and Mary's Grave.
Long Island is BORING.

"Libary" annoys me. Two "r"s; it's not that hard. Library.

Hey, they're NOVEL tall buildings, not like the tall buildings we get around here.
I must admit that I've been guilty of building-staring, but generally I kept moving. Standing outside in the cold doesn't appeal to me. Gawking from inside a tall building... you're out of the way and it's warm.
