Who is your favorite author, and what book/books does he/she write.
My favorite author is Stephanie Meyer-author of the Twilight Saga. I've often heard that Sarah Dessen is a good author, but I haven't read any of her books, yet.

My favorite author is probably H.P.Lovecraft.
He was an early american writer that wrote SciFi and Horror books like The Call Of Cthulu.

Stephanie Meyer, she is the author of the Twilight Saga (idk whether the Eclipse Novella is counted in that or not) and The Host

Octavia Butler.
She wrote incredible sci-fi novels like Adulthood Rites, Fledgling, The Parable of the Sower and Kindred.
She was the first (and so far ONLY) African-American woman to win both the Hugo and Nebula Awards--the highest honors in the sci-fi/fantasy genre. Though she passed away a few years ago, she still inspires me as a writer.

Sarah Dessen is a pretty good author. i would say my favorite authors are Cassandra Clare, Alyson Noel, Melissa De La Cruz, Terry Goodkind and... Janet Evonovich. cassandra clare is the one the rights the mortal instruments series, Alyson Noel wrote evermore and blue moon, Melissa de la cruz wrote blue bloods, Janet Evonovich wrote the stephanie plum series and Terry Goodkind is the author of the seeker. lol..yea i love to read and they inspire me in becoming a good writer.
