>>This is more than a p u l s e , beneath my wrist...``This has been on my mind a lot lately. As I learn more about God and Christianity, I have realized that although we're all Christians in heart and soul, many of us believe different things.
Some Christians believe that God is loving and open to accept anyone into his kingdom. I have even heard that there's a verse in the bible that says that God wants us to believe we're all going to go to heaven and that he opens his arms to all. (If anyone knows what verse I'm talking about, please send it to me in a PM or post it here in the thread. Thanks!)
However, there some people that believe that sinners recieve their punishment at the end of their lifetimes and are not allowed through the gates of heaven. (Some people consider sinners to be Athiests, gays, people who believe in a religion other than Christianity, those that sin, etc.)
I believe that God is loving and accepts everyone as is. But there are those that believe that certain people burn.
What do you all think? If you could back your claims up with references to certain verses in the bible, that would be cool. If not, then that's cool too. (: ``...Or a b e a t beneath my ribs.<< Tmblr.

What do you all think? If you could back your claims up with references to certain verses in the bible, that would be cool. If not, then that's cool too. (: ``...Or a b e a t beneath my ribs.<< Tmblr. To be blunt, people burn. Quote: Matthew 8:12 - but the sons of the kingdom shall be cast out into the outer darkness; in that place where there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth. Matthew 25:46 - And these will go away into eternal punishment, but the righteous into eternal life. Matthew 13:42 - and will cast them into the furnace of fire; in that place where there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth. That verse you are asking for does not, as far as I know, exist. If it does, I would also like to see it provided so that the context can be examined. God is loving, yes. God is very loving. God is gracious and merciful beyond all human measure. But God is also Holy and Righteous and Just, and it is those characteristics of Him that send people to Hell. Christians need to get Christ out of the manger, and on His throne. He will accept you, yes, but you still have to give up your sin and those things which separated you from God. If you really and truly love Him, you'd keep His commandments and strive to give up your sins. That's one way we are able to tell who is Christian, and who is not. Yes, God judges hearts, but He also left ways for us to see Biblically who is of the Body of Christ, and who is not. Universalism is a plague in the church, and needs to be cut out. At the risk of sounding like a stuck up bigot, Atheists, people who believe in a religion other that Christianity, most people who do believe in Christianity, people who refuse to give up their homosexuality are on the way to Hell. Jesus is the only way. Quote: John 14: 6-7 - I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father, but through Me. If you had known Me, you would have known My Father also; from now on you know Him, and have seen Him. Someone who says that someone outside of Christ, someone who has not shared in His death and not carried his cross, will be allowed into Heaven and fellowship with the Father is lying, and calling Jesus a liar. A very large issue here is that there is an incomplete or simply incorrect understanding of salvation, how one achieves it, and that Christianity is a death. You gain eternal life, but you have to die to achieve it.

Everyone is given a chance to accept Jesus as their personal Lord and Savior. If again and again even to death someone consistently and constantly refuses to accept Christ, then that person never had the chance to accept the salvation provided by Him, and therefore has no way to spend eternity in Heaven.
Think of it this way, too: If you saw God face-to-face after death and still denied Him and told Him you didn't want to be with Him, then God, because He is just and fair, will give you what you want, which is life without Him. That is technically what Hell truly is: life without God. In addition to interpreting Hell in the Bible as a dark place where you burn for your sins, you could interpret that as symbolism. How can it be dark and you burn at the same time? If it is dark with God's light and if you are suffering with the burning sensation in your heart from being away from God. At least while we are here on Earth we are surrounded by all manner of God's creation, but Hell, which is eternal separation from God, has none of that.
With that being said, no matter how much someone sins, if he or she chooses to accept the salvation offered by Christ and accepts the Spirit and is truly repentant for his or her past, then that person is saved. That person wants life with God, therefore, since God loves all of His creation and would much rather have them choose Him over Hell, He would be willing to provide them with Heaven.
See, God allows us free will, which is where a lot of issues arise. Free will is fantastic because it means we can choose to truly love Him, rather than it being a love out of obligation. The issue, then, is that people hear talk about Hell and see Hell as a threat more than anything...leading to, "Why would a loving God send people to Hell?" And the thing is, He is so loving that He lets us have free will! And that includes the free will to make bad choices, if that is what we wish to do. He hopes that we will choose Him, of course, but sometimes people don't. He's the Dad of all dads, really, when it comes to being so loving that He gives us so much freedom.

Gods word is clear that God loves all and desires that all be saved.
John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
2Peter 3:9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ those who believe in Jesus go to heaven and have eternal life, unbelievers go to hell and have eternal death.
1John 5:11 And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son.
1John 5:12 He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life.
Revelation 20:15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.

God gave his most precious thing. His Son. He will not force us to worship him though. He wants us to worship out of love and thankfullness. He gave us freewill though. If someone doesn't want to go to heaven it is fully their choice. The Father knows none of us can be perfect that's why he sent Jesus. He does want us to repent when we sin though and strive a little harder each day to be closer to him through The Word and prayer. Peace and Blessings

I believe that people go to Hell but that eventually God's love outweighs his anger and only the truly evil stay in Hell for eternity.

Every one has a coice, to repent of your sins and ask Jesus christ into their hearts, or to go on living life like they have no cares in the world, which they probably don't, because if you aren't living for Jesus, you aren't living for anything. So, no only the people that see the wrong in there ways and accept Jesus into there hearts, somewhere in the bible Jesus said,"the only way to get into heaven is through Me" or something similar to that. the people that do not accept Him into their hearts are the ones who burn in hell for there sins, and yes EVERYONE has sinned.

Ok.... God doesn't care if you were an atheist, a hooker, prostitute, thief, lier, etc...... If you repent your sins to Christ and believe in him you WILL be saved.... When Jesus met the prostitute woman by the well in Samaria..... she got saved and she shared the Gospel with the people of Cychar(sp = p).... so i believe that even if you have lived a life of sin you can still be saved..... this does NOT mean that you should sin ALL of your life and decide that you gonna become a Christian on your deathbed.....You never know when a car crash of meteor might land on your head

Well, you still get a chance while you're still alive to accept the wonderful gift of grace which is Salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ. But once you die and you didn't accept Jesus, well, there's no place but down...
Like what VK Fox said, people burn. (I like people that are brutally frank.)

Most christians believe that our Lord Jesus Christ is almighty, awesome, holy, in fact the Holy Trinity! God the Father, The Son, AND THE HOLY SPIRIT! God's only begotten SON sacrificed himself for OUR SINS! and that is how much our HEAVENLY FATHER LOVES US!

I know someone in a family with religious Christians & often with her church & parents it seems that she's threatened with Hell being at her front door step, she doesn't even know what to believe anymore. I personally think religion gets to the point where it's "you either do this or end up in hell" crazed it's pathetic, & where it's like they want to go to heaven for their wish & desires when it's missing a point it seems, where I think it's God in general. That's why to me it seems people turn away cause they feel too threatened & misguided with what the real point may be that many miss, it's just sad.:/ This is my view, anyway. If you want to go to heaven, get to know God as much as you possibly can even without a church or people telling you what to do & say or else you're doomed without hope at all.
