I been to the UP on a raft trip, it was fun as heck. There was a very shallow river flowing from a lake all the way to Lake Superior from another lake. I forgot the name of it but I was fishing for some bass in it and it was good eatting x3. It was in Schoolcraft county from what I remember.

The UP is such a beautiful place. My uncle has a small house nearly right on the edge of Lake Superior. All we have to do is cross the narrow street, then we've entered the beach area. The shore is COVERED is large red rocks. They gave me atleast three toe cramps a day because it was painful to walk across them to get to the four-foot stretch of sand before the water. Such a beautiful place.
