Ok many people think "oh there's no MOVIE folder on the PSP folder Oh wells!" no there is a seperate folder for Movie's and I'll show you how to set it up step by step...
STEP 1: How to get to your PSP via Computer.
- Hook up your PSP Cable to your PSP and then (make sure your PSP cable is hooked up to your PC ) go to your PSP's Settings then go to USB Connections and press X.
- Now that you got the USB thing on, on your PSP there should be a folder popped up giving choices on how to open the file choose the FOLDER icon....For those that it doesn't happen go to your ' My Doccuments ' --> 'Folders (to view everything) --> 'My Computers' and there should be a new storage device hooked up and click that.
STEP 2: Adding the Movie to the PSP
Ok, before I tell you how to do this, make sure your movie is formatted to .MP4 file if not you must convert it to fit the PSP so it can play on your PSP, but I'll give you links to the programs at the end of this tutorial.
- Once your in your PSP thing there should be 2 files there, the MP_Root folder and your typical PSP folder, well click the MP_Root Folder ( Yes I know your gonna think your gonna mess up your PSP but your not trust me)
- Ok once your in your MP_Root Folder there should be 2 more folders a 100MNV01 and a 101ANV01 folder ( the 101ANV01 folder I have no Idea what it is used for though so DON'T MESS WITH IT!!)
- ok click on the 100MNV01 folder and transfer your precoded MP4 file onto it and it will take a while till it finishes
STEP 3: Making Sure it works!
Ok you've done everything in the list and all you have to do is test it to make sure it works
- Go to your Video section on youer PSP ( not hooked up to your PC the actual PSP system)
- If its there play it and if not I don't know thats the correct folder somthing currupted the program or somthing weird happened!
