The Castle Throne room takes up a large portion of the front of the castle. The doors to the outside face the south towards the town and lead to the courtyard. The ceiling is very high and grand, comparable to a cathedral in height. The ceiling is covered with paintings of nature and history's most powerful elementalists. There are twenty large windows on each side of the throne room, each covered by stained glass. Every window bears the seal of the royal family of each element, repeating every seventh. At the very end of the room sits the grand throne encrusted with gold and jewels, next to it sits the throne meant for the consort. Facing the south doors and to the left of the throne is a small door that leads to the castle halls and the rest of the castle.
The thrones sit on a small platform that is raised just a few steps above the marble floor. There are no benches in this very long room that cannot be removed. Benches and pews are brought it only for ceremonial purposes such as weddings and coronations, and the odd trial. However during normal hearings with the towns folk they are not brought in, and normally are kept in another room.

Today the room was empty except for some benches in the back and the two thrones at the front. Cyra didn't dare touch the thrones, it wasn't a guarantee that Menos would be crowned and the future monarch might not like the idea of her touching anything. She touched her face feeling the small welt and felt her anger rising up again. "How dare he touch my face..." She fumed as she set herself up in the middle of the room. Thankfully the room was not heavily draped in rugs and tapestries or curtains, so if she projected her voice it would produce a nice echo and anyone inside the castle or currently coming to the castle should hear it. She did need to calm down though, for her voice thought impossible not to listen to for any of the male gender, did not work half as well when it shook with rage.
So for ten minutes she stood there calming herself before she opened her lips and began to sing out

"Come to the throne room royalty
the meeting will be held inside
Come for you can not resist me
my voice which there reside"

It didn't occur to her that the guards or anyone else might recognize her voice as the one who helped break into the castle. She didn't even dream of hiding her identity as a Siren.

Genji walked into the throne room, dressed in his black ninja gui once more. He remembered not to startle Cyra this time, and when she turned to meet him, she was rubbing a small red mark on her face he knew wasn't there when he had spoken to her previously. "Oh, what happened? Let me see that. I may have someting that can help get rid of it. You won't want to have it bothering you durring the meeting."

Dahn carefully finds the entrance to the Throne room as he quickly goes through without making much noise, he then shuts the door behind him to avoid anybody from noticing a shadow of a person within the room, and turns around to see Genji and Cyra as he fell back softly on the ground as he tried to see what he had found. He then grumbles under his voice as he complains to the voice in his head that told him to come into the room in the first place.

Illusion entered the throne room and quietly made her way towards the front, past Cyra and more towards the thrones. She saw Dahn and stopped, easily changing her mind and direction she walked towards him. "Will Violet be arriving soon? Should I be inquiring on where your kingdom plans to stand on this whole thing?" On the inside all of her thoughts were a chaotic wind storm. On one hand she had an alliance, on another topic she didn't want fire out of all of them to come in possession of the throne again. It may not have been their fault Colm was a monster, but he was of fire originally. And then there were her own personal feelings about whether or not to try and gain the throne. However the largest downfall to that would be that while she would gain everything, her own element would lose it's only royal. Who would take charge? On the outside nothing gave away her real emotions. "Or should we keep it all secret until the meeting actually starts?" She joked.

Cyra had decided that she'd sit on the ground and wait for the people to gather and the meeting to start. She felt slightly tired from the heat in the air, and sitting generally helped. thankfully it wasn't overwhelming though, so she was perfectly fine all in all. Just exhausted. She looked at Genji and then looked away, her hand instinctively came up to cover the mark. "Some kid with a slingshot." She said unhappily with her happy sounding voice. "I'm going to be scarred for life so anything you can do should help."

Menos entered the throne room and took a deep breath. Things were fairly unsettling standing in that wide near empty throne room. Immediately, Menos could see three pairs of wings on a single body. That sort of visage was difficult to miss even in a dense fog. There was only one person who was that easy to spot. Other than Cyra though, he didn't recognize anybody by name and only a few by face from the ball. He didn't really go introducing himself back at the ball and Emeriss wound up occupying the majority of his time before the events unfolded. Menos glanced briefly back to Kel, "If this is your first time in the union throne room, you're not alone."

Kel followed Menos in and took a few steps to the side as he stopped in order to get a better view of the expansive throne room. He shook his head and shrugged, "I had been in the old one once or twice a few years ago. Just some minor stuff." Placing his hand against the wall to lean against it as he looked around the fairly empty room, Kel noticed something important now that that odd green haired woman was standing near someone dressed in very dark clothing. He whispered down to Seth as he briefly glanced over. "Wasn't there some sort of wanted poster claiming a siren, a ninja, and a couple of other guys attacked the castle some time ago?"

Seth had leaned in closer to her father at the sight of the daunting throne room as she looked around quietly. Noticing her father asking something, she shook her head and whispered back, "Those posters were all over town. Why?" She glanced over across the room. It took little time for it to click, "Oh! That was a siren's voice? I've never heard one before. they've got some serious kahunas returning to the scene of a crime. ...after another crime occurred." Seth chuckled for a moment at the irony.

Luc approached the throne room and waited behind the open doors. He put his slingshot away and carefully peeked out into the throne room. The first thought that came to his mind was, Why is everyone coming here? Just out of view, Luc remained just outside and peeked in carefully every so often.

The Chancellor and bailiff of city hall, or likely just a couple of old fogies to those who've never been there, came entering the throne room from the small side entrance in mid conversation. Chancellor Vittance began a sentence as he stepped in with the bailiff following behind. "Still, it would have been nice to be kept in the loop about it. Maybe just say something along the lines of, "we're going to conduct an ancient untested ritual for the sake of overcoming our impotence.""

The bailiff scratched his forehead and sighed, "When you put it that way, who would want to admit it?" He took the crown over to the center throne and gently placed it upon the seat before continuing, "I've been going bald for decades now but you don't hear me talking about it much less trying to solve it with magic."

"I see your point, but it isn't the same thing, Barry. Sometimes people wish to step back and see if their life's work has set something better in motion for the future." Vittance paused to wait for bailiff Foster to finish before he made his way across the room to the benches at the opposite wall.

"Well, did it work?" Barry asked. As the two arrived, they slowly took a seat on the bench. The bailiff sat back and sighed, the chancellor took out a bizarre device from his knapsack and set it up. He took a sheet of parchment and slid it onto a roll and adjusted it within the machine before answering the bailiff. "I don't know. No one has said anything or recapped the events of the ball officially. It hasn't even been a full day since the event took place."

"Well, if it didn't work I wonder what happened? I guess until someone comes forward, we won't really know." Bailiff Foster fell silent for a moment before he jumped in his seat as something occurred to him. "Hey, what about that one thing the late King was pestering you about? I remember he threatened to kill me over it."

"The Sword of Atlantis? What about it?" The Chancellor straightened his glasses as he began to make adjustments with his machine.

"It wasn't there when we saw the murder scene."

"It's a weapon, people walk off with those sorts of things all the time."

"Do you think the killer might have done it?"

The Chancellor froze in place. He felt a bit ill witted for not coming to that conclusion. The queen had an obvious laceration. The King's death wasn't so apparent to him. "Even so, it doesn't get us any closer to the bottom of this mystery. All we have is a missing weapon, no suspect, no motive, and a very general time frame."

"That's true," Foster sighed.

"You!" Aura whisper hissed at the boy who was hiding by behind the doors. She hadn't seen him at first, but after following the voice and entering she had the weird magnetic feeling again. She went around behind the doors and spotting him, causing the 'you' to be shouted. Not that she knew who he was or anything, but he felt familiar. "Why are you hiding behind the doors?" She demanded, putting her hands on her hips. It was the most outspoken she'd been since being discovered in the tower. Her purple eyes starred into his gray ones curiously. It seemed like he was up to trouble, she'd never done anything that would be considered trouble. The idea intruiged her.

Wanting to answer, Dahn suddenly came to realized that he couldn't remember who Violet was as his mind had no memory of why he was near the castle much less who Violet was, and so he didn't respond at all. Mainly out of fear from speaking to such a powerful force in the land, however he literally didn't even know anyone but himself and a man named Orin who he thought may not be human at all, and so he remained silent as he also gains a headache from trying to remember despite losing all knowledge of who he had met before or who he was with.

Emeriss caught up to just within earshot of Aura to hear that she was confronting some awkward metal haired boy in black. She was about to just walk on by and enter the throne room to see who all was present, but something about that boy made her eyebrows twitch. Rather than get involved, she walked just past the two children and waited beyond the doorway. She didn't enjoy that feeling she got at all. It made her sick. Quelling the seeping madness within, Emeriss continued into the ballroom until she reached somewhere near the center, then turned to watch the entrance.

Luc didn't suspect that someone had noticed him at first. He ignored the simple 'you' he heard shouted out, figuring someone else was being called out to for some reason. When he heard the question of why he was hiding behind the doors, he turned around. There was no denying he was the target this time. Folding his arms and turning his head, Luc stared at the girl out of the corner of his eye, "What's it to you? I'm not bothering anybody." Though he didn't have a good look at first, he quickly recognized that face. He managed to remain unchanged about his expression, but mostly because his position was given away. At the least, if nothing had happened, no one could accuse him of anything.

The girl watched Emeriss walk by and held the kitten to her chest, stroking its coat. Though she couldn't name it and she had never seen him before, the depths of her violet eyes recognized him. "Do as you please then." She said, almost imitating a haughty voice. "I would rather be able to hear what's going on instead of hiding." She stuck out her tongue as him and disappeared into the shadow of the doors. From there her dark form dance jumped from shadow to shadow until she reached the front of the room. She wasn't sure what was going to happen, but the pictures told her it was a big event. She knew the outcome already, but she always loved to watch things happen in person.

Illusion looked at him and cocked her head to the side. "Are you alright? You didn't come to the Air Tower, weren't you at the Fire Tower instead?" She shook her head to the side somewhat sadly. "Perhaps last night was a bit traumatic. Come with me." She led the boy to the wall were a bench had been pressed up against it and sat him down. "Rest for a little bit and I'll try to find you something to drink." That might help she thought as she glanced around the room. She had never actually meet the water royalty she didn't think, but as she glanced around the room she saw a man who carried himself like he was one. That must be Menos she thought as she approached him. "I hope you don't think me rude in asking, but perhaps you could help me? One of my people doesn't seem to remember much about last night, I think he may be dehydrated. Do you think you could help?"

Menos had trailed off for a moment, becoming beholden to this thoughts. Judging by what the chancellor said, nobody had explained to them the events of the ball yet. His train of thought dissolved as Princess Illusion approached. Standing still and resolute, Menos listened, "I see. Well I can't help him with what happened last night. I spent the duration of that event unconscious. As for dehydration..." He upturned the palm of his right hand then glanced back toward Kel. "Kel, crack a window. If I do this, it'll feel like a desert in here if there's no ventilation." The air felt to move as Menos pulled moisture from the local air to form a narrow cylinder of water over the palm of his hand. His fingers twitched a bit as the water finished collecting above them. There was a crackling noise formed an icy sheet crystallized the bottom and sides of the cylinder. "Give him this," He said, holding out the makeshift glass of water to Illusion.

Kel nodded to Menos and approached the nearest window. Getting a good grip on the edge of it, He yanked it to half way open. The sound of gentle winds gusted into the throne room with a slight chill. Kel returned to his spot on the wall.

Luc turned around as Draven dissolved into the shadows and emerged again within the throne room. "Humph! What's the point when you know what's going to happen already. It's like having a book when someone already explained the details to you. You won't want to read it anymore, so why bother?" he mumbled.

He took a few paces around the door and entered quietly, taking a brief look around. Pheleseth was pretty close to where he entered, which came as a slight shock. He made his way around Pheleseth and her father to get to the wall, pointing and making a brief statement to Seth, "This isn't over."

Irritated, Seth turned to notice Luc pointing at her as a direct challenge. She raised her arms out in a confrontational manner and tilted her head, "You want some? Come get some!" She taunted, then non-verbally dared him to start something. "Want me to break you again?"

"Seth!" Kel scolded, folding his arms.
