William Shakespeare, is one of most favorite play writer as well as poet. We can all say the guy had skills, maybe that's why high school students are always subjected to taking long agonizing tests on him. Hmmm. Are you a soul speaker (poet) or just like me a groupie who runs around screaming OMG, this poem so describes me.

I'm trying to get better at poetry. xd I think that, once I come to a better sense of self-awareness, it'll get better. xD

I think I have a better self awareness then I use to have. But I just writes my up and down, my daily basis of my own existence.

I write confusing things. Just like... a paragraph or a sentence.

Other than that, I don't express myself with words. I do other things.

i'm honestly not that big of a poetry fan unless it's a song.
xD

i rather like short stories, actually.

I love words... but, for some reason, poetry flowing off my pen or fingertips just doesn't seem to have much of a point to me. I think that poetry can be accessed simply in the eloquence one might adopt in any turn of phrase, but without broader context, it seems a little self-indulgent.

... and now I feel like a robot of some kind lol

I prefer poetry in action, and in a lengthier medium. Shakespeare applied his poetry within stories, and it was and is amazing. To me his plays are all so much more significant than his stand-alone poems.

I really do wish I had a way with words.
Poetry is beautiful and I wish I had a way to get my ideas down with ink, but the images and words never compliment each other. Sometimes when I'm really angry or sad, if you put a pen and a notebook in front of me, I'll write some pretty decent stuff.

As of right now, I'm a just a typical fan girl of poetry. My love of poetry comes and goes.

I put my poetry out there by these poetry dog tags I have.
They have awesome words, so I don't have to create them, I can just have them there at my fingertips to rearrange and create random lines of awesome.

My current favorites are:

But, sticking to the topic, I think Shakespeare is amazing, but some of his tales aren't that good. I honestly think of all his plays, Romeo and Juliet is one of the worst ones.

Juliet and Romeo, ok some of it, is purely stupid to me, but to me it's just a pretty love tragic. I love Julius Caesar.
