The end of the world draws nigh, and creatures of the darkness are spreading and gaining strength. The border between the spirits and the world of daylight is slowly crumbling, and ghosts of the night are coming closer and closer to the living. That means old safeguards of legends are no longer applying. Ghosts are visible even in light, vampires are able to cross moving water, and werewolves are no longer restricted to the full moon.
But this is good, because they are the last defense the humans have. Once the sun goes down, these cursed yet still human beings become the last standing weapon against the supernatural. And they are increasing rapidly, due to their newest freedom.
The darkness is spreading, and the living are quickly dying as Hell's gates are opening. The only way to stop this epidemic is by finding the gates, and sealing them again. The date is October 14, 2012.
