There is no escape, there is only certain death. An acrid smell of fire and death woke him. Ulruu lifted his head from the dingy cage to a terrible noise. His hands flew to cover his ears. He could hear again. Amber eyes observed with vieled horror the sence before them. The slightly destroyed village bustled with activity, no chaos. Huts of all shapes and sizes were in different states. Some were burning anew with passion. Others' flames were teetering out, suffacated and starved by their greed. A few were not touched by the flame, but severely hacked into. Babies wailed, women screamed in horror as they aided anyone they could find, and the men went about the rescuing what they could. Shouting could be heard over the general discord of fear.
A group of men approached his cage. It was then that Ulruu realized that he was in a cage. The lead man spat in his elven face. Ulruu lifted a shackled hand to brush the spittle away, smearing the ashy grim already on his face. The human spoke gruffly to his companions,"We gotta see if 'e was wit anymoe of 'is kind. I dun't care if dey look 'uman. Catch 'em and cage 'em. We'll deal ou' justice later."
Ulruu's eyes widen with disbelief. This was not some mischance event. He recognized everything now. This was a memory, a powerful one at that. A memory he couldn't escape. No, not just him, he realized. No one would be able to escape when they entered. There was only certain death.

They use to call me the Living Genocide, I am now a just a wandering soul out for blood lust.
He pulled back the bolt on the rifle and loaded a 7.62mm FMJ into the barrel of the M14, he set the firing action to single and slowly adjusted the scope to match the wind conditions. He pulled the man in front of the cage into his sight, he slowly inhaled and begin to pull on the trigger, as he did that he slowly exhaled and let the bullet rip through the head of the man spitting on the kid in the cage. He quickly assumed his next five targets and let the bullets rip through the heads of all of them, he could see the blood splatter all over. He smirked as he got up from his position and quickly went down to the cage, he pulled out a pair of bolt cutters from his backpack and opened the cage. He pulled out a cigarette and lit, he inhaled and let the smoke swirl in his lungs as he exhaled and let out a sigh of relief.
He looked down at the elf in the cage and gave him a smirk and held his hand out.
"Please to meet you, hope you guessed my name." He said with a wink

Ulruu rocked in his place a little as the smell of fresh blood washed over him. A small gleam of crimson red swirled through his amber orbs and then dispersed as he controlled himself. He didn't really have time to think. It was a blur of confusion for him, really. A man had pulled a rifle on six men and killed them in a heartbeat. His face twisted into a grimace as the cage door opened rather noisily.
His grimy hand latched gently onto his supposed savior as he rolled the comment through his head a few times. His elven features twisted into one of confusion. His isolation had made him stupid to the outside world. However, there was a rumor or had it been real?
"Could you be the Sin Jacob Roberts? But, what would-or rather are you doing here?" Ulruu asked with awe.

Kyra walked into the village, looking at the destruction. She started to wonder deeper into the village when a group of men ran up to her, yelling at her and pushing and pulling her somewhere.
"Hey! Hey! Stop pushing!" They ignored her yelling and continued to push and pull her. She struggled to get away and finally she did to use her shadows to link all their minds with hers.
She held both hands head level, controlling the shadows and their minds. Their minds were a total mess, confusion, fear, anger, and death clouded their minds from clear thinking.
She shook her head and worked on calming down their thoughts as she gathered information. The men started to calm down a bit and stood in a circle around her, watching her.
She put the images of her from six different view in the back of her head. The elves did this. Caused all of this destruction on our home. Families dead, fires buring.
She got all of that from every single one of their minds. She was still sorting through thoughts she almost didn't even notice that the fires were coming toward the spot she was standing. "Mistress the fires are coming our way." one of the men said.
She moved one hand to the area the fire came from and held it up telling it to stop and it listened. It stopped dead in it's tracks, not going anywhere near the shadow marked. She shook her head at what the man called her. She hated being call 'mistress' whenever she controlled a mind but didn't push the issue like she normally did, she needed more information and fast. The men just had too much emotion in their heads it was hard to find something solid.

He laughed hardily to the young elf as he slung the rifle to his back and lifted the kids out of the cage. He put a hand on the boy and flicked some of the ashes onto the ground and took another drag of the cigarette.
"Well well then the stories of my adventures get around, and for the answer to your question is! I am here cause I am bored, and being the walking Genocide I kinda figured I could recruit some good people to help me kill Belial. So kid tell me, do you smoke? and why in the hell were you in a cage?" He replied and then immediately asked the question

Ulruu looked around sheepishly as the man manhandled him a bit. Sin Jacob Roberts looked like he meant well. His dark head of hair bobbed as he shook his head no to smoking. There was enough smoke as it were, and the smell of the cigarette made his nose twitch.
He looked down a bit as he recalled what had happened. The village had been quiet and peaceful. Then, the raw scent of fear clouded his senses. A sudden hunger overcame him. All he could see was red. The half elf could guess what had happened. It irritated him that these people actually had a reason to be pissed off at him. Ulruu had to admit, the destruction this time was a bit worse than he remembered.
Ulruu decided to tell his savior a bit of his tale. He started,"Uh, well I guess I just went on a destruction ramage. Those happen sometimes. Honestly, I would want to kill me now too. I mean, isn't this just a bit overkill?"

Sin laughed again at what the boy said and decided to take a seat on the cage, he inhaled again and let out the smoke in a swirl.
"Well no this isn't exactly overkill, now destroying an entire Utopia to kill just one man is overkill. Now boy how good are you with guns? What about blades and other melee weapons?" He asked as he flicked the cigarette out and began to reload the clip in his M14

Ulruu looked a bit weirded out now. His elven roots taught him that the way to kill was through the bow and arrow. As for melee weapons, he was a fairly good fist fighter. However, all he had on his side was speed and footwork. He shrugged a little when he spoke.
"Uh, I don't use guns. I am a good shot with a bow and arrow any day though. I guess that could be attributed to my elven eyes. As for melee, I'm pretty useless. I mean, I can fight a bit hand to hand. I don't really know how good it is though besides the speed," Ulruu answered honestly. Ever since he found out that he was dead, he opened up fairly easily to people.

Sin had a puzzled look on his face, someone who didn't use guns!? He thought to himself, he knew that most people where he came from used guns, but someone who used strictly bows and arrows.
"Well lets put it this way, if I can find you a bow and some arrows would you fight alongside me?" He asked as he lit another cigarette
((XP thank you, I really want to get my Belial avi done))

Ulruu glanced around the place. His bow was probably destroyed from the wreckage. He sighed at the thought of a new one. It would be a bit troublesome, but he could do it.
"Yea, uh, I'll make me some new ones when I've got the chance," the half elf replied with a shrug.

Kyra got all the information she could out of the men. She put them to sleep as she grew angry with not getting anything of use. She started to pace in her space, thinking.
She let her mind wonder and the fire started back on it trail, getting closer to Kyra. At first she ignored it but once the heat got too much for her, she extinguished the fire, getting mader with herself for not paying attention to the fire. She was loosing her mind and concentration.
She shook her head angerly and focused on calming down which wasn't getting anywhere. "Humph, some assassin can't even make sense of my own thoughts." she muttered to herself.

Sin looked off into the town wondering, he had his guns but this kid... he needed a bow. He said he had is own but it was in the wreckage, he jumped up onto the cage and pulled out his USP.45 and hands it to the kid.
"Just till we can get you a Bow and some arrows, I don't want you to be totally defenseless you know?" He said with a sort of sadistic smile on his face

Ulruu felt a jolt of glee when he thought of escape. He handled the gun like a snake and kept it fairly far away from him. Never in his life had he held a gun. It didn't have the familiar earthy feel of wood. Its handle was cold and unfeeling. He gulped lightly. In this kind of a situation, he would probably be the idiot to accidently shot some one without meaning to.
"Thanks. Uh, are you sure that giving me this is a good idea?" he asked, voicing his doubt.

Sin laughed again patting the kid on the back, he looked out towards the village thinking if that was him there would be nothing left at all.... not even the forest.
He looked at the boy with a smile. "By the way kid I never got your name." He said as he pulled the bolt back on his rifle and let it go forwards loading a round into the chamber

Kyra started to run around the villege, putting out fires with whatever element she saw fit as she went about. She was sweating and running around getting people out of buring houses and doing wah she could to help.
She stood by a burning house and placed her hand on the doorgam, panting heavily and wiped the sweat off her forehead. The fire only licked at her hand but didn't blister or burn it, like it did to every shadow markered. She let out a heavy sigh before putting it out with water. She was getting tired and drained. She fell to her knees, panting and shaking.
"Maybe i....shouldn't use....too much of....my powers." she said between pants. She stood straight, shaking and looked around to see what else she could do.
