I have seen many things about fixing healthcare as of late..

The government has proven time and time again that it cannot handle these sorts of situations. Every program they get their hands in goes to hell.

Education? Economy? Name one well running form of government.

Besides, healthcare is a symptom of a week economy. You need to fix the economy before healthcare, besides? what will it help?

its not free.. It just falls on an already overburdened middle class.. The poor can't pay it, and the rich find loop holes around paying it.

What we need to do is cut taxes on business. Yes i know people tend to think of large corporations.. But when they increase taxes on big business they are doing it to small business, Meaning their hurting the mom and pop store down the street and the mega corporation doesn't even notice..

For instance, in benefits/taxes it costs a small store about $15,000 per year per employee. Not including wages.. Places are closing left and right. Our system cannot survive in the climate.

What we need is the government to get out of things like healthcare, (and business. The government is keeping those corporations alive. Let them fall, stop giving out low interest federal loans so a company can buy out another company. Then smaller business will take its place.)
And education, eliminate dependency.

By decreasing taxes on business and making it cheaper to start a business then they will sprout up everywhere.

And besides, government run healthcare, it would be so much paper work and time to do the slightest of things.. (People in new orleans are still waiting to fill out the paper work to have their houses fixed....)

They ******** it all up like they have everything else... The government is so messed up that every aspect of it needs a complete overhaul.. And fixing the economy and creating more PERMANENT jobs is the way to tackle those other concerns.

The health care system needs to be fixed.. But it will get fixed if the economy is handled first.
