Going as Kairi from Kingdom Hearts 2. I know to use converse, and they are a light purple and all that but...should I use fabric paint, or spray paint? Which would look better on converse? Or fabric dye?

I'd say if you need to paint the whole things, use a fabric spray paint (which they do make) that way it's still flexible when you walk, or use a white/cream as a base and use regular spray paint for the color. I did this for some armored boots I made and it worked really good. I don't think dye would work too well on them, so paint would be the best choice. Dye could either not take or can fade quickly. I think the big thing would be cost (unless that's no problem for you). Regardless, I think the paints would be best, but the way I said could cost a pretty penny^^;
