I mean, the beasts ARE zombies.. and it would kinda be a logical thing i say: A virus has infected someone on the ship, and he became fully infested when he landed on the larger ship or space-station, and became a zombie, infesting the ship, and some people come and investigates to see wtf happened XD..

not in the main forum, in the reservoir, sure, but not in the main one, Max brooks stated and quite logically that none were infected. The shuttles would have been sent up before the infections began and astronauts are screened for illnesses.
