I have a bad habbit. I pick at and pull out my eyebrow hairs and eyelashes when i get stressed, worried, annoyed, etc. I don't know how to get rid of this habbit. When i was a child i used to straight out pull my hair out whenever i'd get stressed or worried. I made myself stop when i noticed i was developing a sort of a bald spot, but this new habbit developed instead. I want to stop because i like my eyebrows and eyelashes, and ireally do want them there, it's just an impulse that i have without even thinking about it.
Any ideas on how to stop me from pulling out all my eyelashes? How have some of you guys overcome nervous habbits?

Habits are a hard thing to break out of unless it no longer serves a purpose, you find something else to replace the habit, or you really whole heartedly want to stop.
Don't know if any of these would work or how aplicable they might be when working or out in public. But the key is to retrain your brain and habits into the behaviour you would like.
Hypnosis Having friends say "Hey you are doing it again." Distractions or alternatives. (stress balls, small trinkets, chimes, bells, key chain etc...) Grow your nails longer, wear gloves, band-aids, brightly coloured string (to reduce the chance of gripping and catch your attention faster)
just some thoughts
