C h i m p ɑ n z e e X C ɑ b i n xx[Red & Gold Door // Cabin #2]This cabin will be your home for practically the whole summer. So get used to it! You won't be doing much here other than sleeping (which you won't get much of by the way; the Combusken likes to wake up pretty early). After a couple of days of sleeping in this place, you'll be begging for your plain ol' room back at the Pokemon Center. But it still beats sleeping in the dirt, right? Not that it's much of a step up from that...
The ceilings are built high because of the bunk beds and are only made out of wood. You'd better wish for mild summer nights, because these don't hold cold or heat very well. The cabins are extremely small, considering they have to fit four people. You won't have a table, chairs, or anything blocking your walkway; it's just a square room with two bunk beds and two tiny closets on either side. The bathroom is built into the corner and has a small shower, toilet, and sink. Just be grateful to have warm water most days...and running water in general! C o u n s e l o r

Garret Forest  "YES! Summer camp finally!" Garret laughed aloud, and Pyro, his Growlithe, barked happily as well. So, the cabin wasn't very big, but who cared? It wasn't like they were going to be spending much time in it. There would be barbeque's, cook-outs, games, and all sort of other wonderful activities! Garrret wondered what they would be doing first. Probably the first day would be orientation, showing everyone where everything is, then telling how everything was going to work, then just general settling in. Tomorrow would be the real day. Garret quickly claimed one of the bottom bunks, seeing how nobody was here yet, and Pyro liked to sleep in the bed with Garret. Pyro wouldn't go in his pokeball, and Garret would prefer not to drag Pyro up to the top of the bunk bed every night. Garret shrugged off his small backpack, which was bulging full, and dropped it on the bed, then sat himself. "Yes, we're going to have a great time!" He said, scratching Pyro behind the ears, the Growlithe panting in pleasure.

Vincent made his way into his room, tossing his things down on a bed. He was currently wearing his glasses, and a rather nice red hoody with black patterns, along with some decent blue jeans and sneakers. He nearly immediately spotted and addressed the other male's presence. "Oi! The name's Vince. Vincent Knight, to be exact. Nice ta' meet you." he spoke, extending his hand to the man happily. Vincent was an overall up-beat sort of guy, though, at times he could be sort of shy, his excitement was overwhelming that factor of him at this moment. He especially had trouble standing up for himself and confronting hard situations head-on. He then took out his pokeballs and let his three Pokemon out. Though, they weren't actually his. He was Pokemon-sitting them for his elder sister while she was away. Apparently the camp was supposed to be a good chance for them to get out and get some exercise as well. Vince picked up the small Surskit, introducing him. "I'm watching my sister's Pokemon while she's away, as you see . . . I've not actually had a chance to start a journey of my own yet." he said, not sharing why in particular he hadn't started his journey, though it was actually because of fear. "This little fella is Nahla. And that is Avira. Garret Forest Garret stood up as someone else walked in. Well, he hadn't really expected to be the only person in the cabin, but it would have been amusing. He had currently foregone his usual black hoodie, though it was still packed in his bag, and was currently wearing a white T-shirt, with a picture of an overhead view of Cinnabar Island on it. He wore jeans and sneakers as well. The unusual feature though was that he had a long red scarf wrapped around his neck, though the ends were currently hanging down his back. Garret wasn't at all surprised that he had to reach a bit upwards to shake the other boy's hand. Garret was only thirteen, and he was below average height for his age. Vincent appeared to be at least several years his elder. "Nice to meet you too. My name's Garret, and this guy's Pyro." He reached down, lifting his Growlithe up into his arms, which was no easy task, given their relative sizes. Garret tended not to mention his last name when introducing himself to new people. The media had made a spectacle on his mother seven years ago, and he never knew who would remember his last name. "Dad thinks sending me here will delay me from going on my own adventure, though it'll probably do just the opposite." Garret bounced slightly on the balls of his feet in excitement.

★ __ ★ __ ★ Lumi made her way up to the Chimpanzee Cabin, where she would be spending the entire summer in this godforsaken place. She was supposed to be starting her journey in the Johto region...but her parents decided that attending summer camp would somehow be of some benefit to their daughter. As if forcing her to finish school wasn't bad enough. This was one more thing delaying her journey.
"It's not fair," she grumbled. "Noèmie never had to go to summer camp." Noèmie's Lumi's older sister. The two siblings were not exactly on the best of terms. Their parents were always so proud of their eldest daughter; they probably thought Lumi could use the experience of meeting new people at camp. That, or they just enjoyed tormenting their second daughter. Roughing it out in the woods was most certainly not Lumi's idea of a fun time. But if she didn't do it, she couldn't go off on her Pokemon journey, which she wanted more than anything.
Being forced to go to camp was bad enough. But to make matters worse, it was HOT. Like, blazing outside. Lumi was from Mahogany Town, which was located in the north and was a very cool place to live. Lumi hated the heat, so she was way out of her comfort zone right now. She even had to substitute her normal attire for something much more weather-appropriate. Instead of her long-sleeve, button-up shirt, she has a pale pink tank top. And her sweater is too warm to wear; instead she wears a short-sleeved, white button up shirt - unbuttoned - over her tank top. In place of her long white pants and snow boots, she wears a light denim mini skirt with white, strappy sandals. She tied up her long, shiny black hair into a ponytail to keep it out of her face and off her neck in this unbearable heat.
She took a deep breath and opened the door to the cabin, only to find her cabin-mates already inside. To her dismay, she realized they were both boys - and younger ones at that. Since she was already in a bad mood, she didn't feel the need to censor her normally bad-tempered and uppity personality.
"I didn't know this was co-ed bunking..." she said with a sour face as she dropped her suitcase to the ground at the door. She crossed her arms over her chest, still frowning. She looked around the cabin, taking it all in. It looked just as unappealing inside as it did on the outside. And she was supposed to sleep here? With two boys for cabin-mates as well. She probably would be better off in a sleeping bag out in the woods. This was definitely going to be a long summer...

Vincent had claimed a bottom bunk and was fixing his bed, while listening to Garrett speak. "Ha. Yeah. My parents are hoping it'll do the opposite and send me out on my journey."he spoke with a chuckle, before he heard the door open up once more. "Oh hey there, my name's--" he began, but then trailed off nervously upon seeing who exactly was standing at the door. It was an older girl. A gorgeous one at that. Vince never really had much luck when it came to girls. They made him too . . . well . . . nervous, obviously. He cleared his throat and then finished his sentence. "Um . . . uh . . . T-the n-n-name's Vincent." he stated awkwardly and plainly, too nervous to be able to force anything else out. He knew that the dorms were co-ed, but he was really hoping he'd get all guys, or maybe a younger girl that he could treat as a sister . . . not someone that was actually . . . you know . . . attractive. Garret Forest Garret was surprised to see that the other member of their cabin was a girl. Adults seemed to be picky about letting boys and girls sleep in the same place. Garret wasn't sure why, and dad kept putting off answering his questions 'till he was older.' Still, it didn't mean he couldn't greet her. Realizing that he was still holding Pyro, Garret set him down before speaking. "Camps tend to have shared cabins, to cut down on the space needed to preserve more of the natural habitat. Though there are usually boy and girl cabins. I'm Garret." He had been to a karate camp previously, though one camp experience probably shouldn't lend to such broad generalities that he had used. This girl actually seemed to be about his height. He'd have to figure out how to inconspicuously get closer for a better judge. Maybe he wouldn't be the shortest kid at camp again...

★ __ ★ __ ★ She sighed and decided she should make some sort of attempt at being polite. After all, it was probably part of the reason her parents sent her here in the first place. Her people skills could use a little work. Maybe if she made some friends, her parents would think twice about letting her go off on a Pokemon journey.
"I'm Lumière Reynolds. But just call me Lumi, okay?" she said as nicely as possible. She took a good look at the boys she'd be rooming with. The one who introduced himself as Garret looked to be a bit younger than her, but probably not too much. The other one, Vincent, looked more around her age. He was tall, and he didn't really say much after introducing himself. Whatever, she thought. She wasn't all that great at reading people, so she just assumed that if he wasn't talking to her, he didn't like her. Lumi didn't care much either way. She picked up her suitcase off the floor, realizing she was getting the last pick for beds.
"So," she asked, "Which bunks are still available for me?"

Garret Forest Well, so it would be Lumi, Vince, and Garret. Well, there might be another person, but there didn't seem to be that many campers to be divided among eight cabins. But they would be the best team! The other teams wouldn't know what hit them, the three would be so good! If only he'd read what they were going to be doing in the brochure... Garret glanced over at Vincent. He seemed to already be unpacking, which meant that it'd be up to Garret to offer his. "Uh, well both of the top ones are free. But I can move to a top bunk if you want a bottom one." Garret turned around to pick up his bag from the bed, and while he was doing that, his Growlithe walked over to Lumi, sitting down in front of her, tail wagging, eyes begging for a scratch.

★ __ ★ __ ★ Lumi shook her head no. "It's fine...I'll just take one of the top ones." She had a feeling she wouldn't be socializing too much while at camp, not that that would be unusual for her anyway. She placed her suitcase by one of the closets, where she would place her belongings later. "I'll take this closet, though. You two can have the other one," she said, with no real disregard for their feeling on the matter. She had a feeling she'd need a closet of her own more so than either one of them did. She already had to share the cabin with them, so she wasn't sharing a closet too.
Lumi sighed, looking around the cabin one last time. There was nothing to really do in this place but to sleep, unpack, or get to know your roommates - none of which really appealed to her at the moment. With nothing else left to do, she decided maybe a walk around the camp would be best.
"Well, I'm outta here. Gonna walk around for a while. See you later," she said to the boys before exiting the cabin. She'd seen a huge forest clearing on the map that she'd like to check out. It was big, so she just might get some time to herself.
OOC: Don't feel bad btw, guys...it's just her personality. Nothing against you personally. Omni already has an idea anyway since we're gonna be developing an RP story with Vince/Lumi while we're here. But yeah...she'll warm up eventually hehe

Vincent's face remained red for the duration of the girl's presence in the room. He merely responded with simple noises, averting his eyes while she was there. She seemed rather . . . high strong. He was glad that Garrett was nice enough to offer her his bunk, as well, 'cause he'd feel bad if Garrett didn't want to give her his and neigher did he. Though, Vince probably would've mumbled out an offering if it came down to it. As she then turned around to leave, a sigh of relief escaped his lips. "I am NOT used to bunking with girls my age." he began. "I mean. I have an older sister, but she's like . . . nearly 30!" he then said, plopping down on the bunk he'd been sitting at, removing his underwear finally from his suitcase and tossing them in the bed-side dresser's drawer. He didn't mind keeping all of his clothes in the drawer, either. He didn't bring all that much. "Oh. I also have very little to store in the closet besides this hoody and a few thicker pair of pants, so I shouldn't be taking up that much room, really. he then added, hoping the other male didn't mind much. Garret Forest "What's wrong with bunking with girls of the same age?" Garret was just happy he'd be able to keep the bottom bunk. He plopped his backpack back on the bunk. He opened it eagerly, tugging on something, until he managed to pull the frisbee out of his pack along with half a dozen other things. He hadn't been sure of what the camp would have so he had made sure to bring some nonessentials as well as clothing. "Never mind. We'll have plenty of time for unpacking later. We've got to have some fun before the day burns away! We've got a camp to explore, people to meet, pranks to plan, and fun to be had! But the beginning is most important! What should we do first?" Garret tapped the edge of the frisbee against his chin. Pyro was now sitting perfectly still, only his eyes moving to follow the frisbee.

Garret Forest "I know exactly where to go!" He dashed back to his pack, pulling out a towel. "To the lake! Where the cool breezes blow! Onward! Charge!" Kent dashed out of the cabin, Pyro hot on his heels. ((Exit to Lake))

After unpacking his things and having a bit of a light-hearted chatter of sorts with his roommate, his roommate decided to leave, and figuring it a good opportunity to get out and explore the camp, Vincent decided to head out as well.
