Has anyone actually played a good video game that is based off of a movie? Which games? I always loved Aladdin and The Lion King from the SNES, but that's oooold.

"Every scar is a lesson...I actually still have The Lion King for my Sega Genesis. That game was hard though sweatdrop
Haven't played anything recently though. ...Every battle a test of what you have learned."

OMG..... The Lion King was AMAZING! I still have it ^_^ Played that SO much. When it came to where you're older Simba with all the Tunnels.. That's where I got lost. I would have to help my friend with that area and the earlier level with the waterfall =3 Also have Aladin. (Thank you, Vyper xd )
Hmm... The old Toy Story game was alright..
I can't seem to think of any.. Oh... Eragon... That. Game. SUCKED.... It was like something that should have been on the PS1. But it was on the XBOX... Which meant that there just wasn't ANY hope of the DS version.. I should have known. But I was curious about gameplay = Shame on me lol
I think that's it...
Pretty much, the old old games that were after movies. Good. Pretty good. But the new ones... =
Oh! Pocahontas! Ok. NOW I think that's it lol

Aw, I never played Pocahontas.
We had the Star Wars game on the SNES, I guess that was alright. I didn't play it much. My brothers really liked it, though.
Lol, there is no shame in trying out a game. The Beowulf computer game was at Gamestop for 3.00 so my husband HAD to get it. >_> Now it's in a pile for our yard sale.

If they put half the detail into making a movie into a game as they did in making the movie, the game would be awesome! Most movies take upwards of three years to make. But, they don't make the game until the last 4 months or so.

Oh, I also played Tom and Jerry and Pink Panther and Popeye lol Few others =b
The Lego games are alright. Though... They only sorta follow a movie = I dunno. XD
I don't see why they bother making the game if it's going to be such a short project... Other than knowing there are always those fans who have to buy EVERYTHING.... Oh well..

Quote: We had the Star Wars game on the SNES, I guess that was alright. I didn't play it much. My brothers really liked it, though. Star Wars games aren't really counted as movie games anymore. They've graduated into their own class of games, with both really good and really bad versions of htem. Quote: Hmm... The old Toy Story game was alright.. The Toy Story (2?) game for the N64 is probably my all time favourite movie game.

No, the older one for the SEGA lol I didn't know about the 64 version =b
And as for Star Wars, some of them are based on the movies... But others aren't. Pretty much half and half. Some could be from the books, animated series, imagination...
