Personality: Obedient, determined, and dogmatic. I take no bull from anyone in my cavalry division. I am not one to question orders, and I take commands at face value. Given a position of leadership I am obliged to make sure that the orders of the consul are taken out to the word by every single man on a horse in Legio IX. I care not for individual concerns or problems, and factor in very rarely my own opinion where it is not required.
Background: Raised from a wealthy family in Latium, schooled and trained in tactics and history in Rome. At the age of 20 I was sent out to defend the northern borders of Rome, and that, I say without hesitation, is what I'm best at. I've served 12 years in Legio IX as mounted infantry, and have been appointed by the consuls to take control of the unit in the legion. Having had exceptional experience dispatching of Gauls and Teutons, I am the local expert on the trade, and do not underestimate their cunning and strength. It is the outlying barbaric large men with bows and spears that strike the most fear into the most respectable, dignified cavalryman. Cowards, all of them. Let them come into the field with me. I will end them.

Personality: Proud and wealthy man. Corrupted by the ways of the senate. Looks to find glory in the campaigns into Samnium. HATES Carthage. Loves campaigns, wine and sometimes spending his time round Rome. Very pious
Background: Flavius's father was also a senator and after his death Flavius has taken his place. Flavius is the tribune of the plebeians of Rome. so he represents the citizens of Rome's interests (or tries when it suits him). He owns the Brutus estate in Rome and has his own personal army made up of Hastati, Principes, Triarii and Equites. Sam is itching for the campaign to start, between Rome and the Samnites!

Main Weapon: A Triarii Spear given to him by the senate for distinguished service.
Personality: Gaius is first and foremost a soldier of his family house. He is dedicated to the art of war and is equally skilled in his political skills. He is generally more laid back then most but holds a confidence and determination that is often inspiring to his men. He has a strong distaste for lavish living and is very pious. He hates the Gaulic tribes with a passion.
Background: Gaius Octavius Julius is a member of the House of Julii, a very prominent patrician family based out of Central Italy. Based out of Rome the House of Julii runs many of the towns and cities in the north through strong arm tactics, extortion, and black mail. Gaius's grandfather decided it would be best to send Gaius off to join the legions at the age of 16 to try and earn his family a seat in the senate. In the legions he served against the Samnites in the south untill the age of 25 where he earned himself command over a single legion and a spear given to him by the senate for his distinguished service. He is anxious for the invasion of southern Italy to begin in the hopes that his legion will serve as the vanguard for the assault.

Abilities: extremely strong, and will never feel pain in the heat of battle.Details: Son of Ares, Greek god of war, but oftenly refered to as Mars. at birth, Drakas was kidnapped, and sold as a slave. he learned to dule from one of thhe slaves, and the practiced secretly in the dead of night. one day he attacked a sentry, and let the rest of the slaves to freedom. because of his heritage, he will not feel pain during battle, but afterward it all comes in a jolt.

Was sailing but a storm crashed his boat when he was 12 and he woke up on Ogygia and became very nice with the influence calypso he became very sweet and gentle but lost his will to fight.That will was somewhat regained when he was 16 and calypso got to attached to him and had to beg him to leave.After leaving he Swam back to Athens and know will fight but only if his life or the life of the innocent is at stake. Can we see a few more in the other factions now please, to even stuff out especially Carthage and Samnites. I'm trying to not make it top heavy with Greek's and Roman's. but nice characters guys, keep it up!

Background: Antonius Lucinius Arcinas was born in the countryside of Rome.There as a young kid,he worked as to help his grandfather tend the farm and do the daily work.Before him,his father had served as a commander in the Roman army.After reaching a suitable age,he was sent of to join follow his fathers footsteps and become part of the Infantry cohort.He earned his status and reputation for his excellent close combat tactics.

Personality: As brilliant as she is beautiful, Ayzebel is a woman of great melancholies, quick to laugh and quick to anger. Yet she does not let her emotions rule her and uses them as well as her sorcery, charm, and sword arm to get what she wants.
View of Other Peoples: She views the Romans as annoying pests that get in the way of her buisness deals. The Gaelic tribes of Europe (Both Celts and Gauls) she knows as long time trading partners and gladly deals with them. She does buisness with the Samites and is wary of Macedon. Her opinion of Greeks is mixed: She finds Spartan men very appealing save for their dry attitudes and enjoys the fact Athens is no longer a trading super power. Persians are welcome trading partners as are the Egyptians. She tends to judge more Monstrous people by their native culture rather than appearance.
Background: Ayzebel is of the blood of Dido, the founding queen of her beloved city. Trained in the arts of mercantilism, magic, and swordsmanship, she was given a ship of her own to command when she became of age as a present from her mother, the reigning ruler of Carthage. Now she sails the Mediterranean as an adventurer, pirate, merchant, and representative of her punic homeland.
