Well, my son (step-son) just turned 10 this past November and my husband and I think he's already hitting puberty. He's in the 4th grade and he's being a little hellraiser, lol. He's at that age where he talks back, tells you what you want to hear then does the opposite, lies, and get's into a spot of trouble every now and then. It's not just his father and I he does it to, it's EVERYONE. Most people don't even realize he's doing it to them, but his father and I have been around it long enough to know when he's doing it, lol wink Not mention the girls he checks out! hahaha. It's a bit nerve recking at times, I guess I just wish he didn't have to hit the terrible teens so fast, I wish I could keep him,, impossibly, a little one forever. Though he has had it a little more ruff then others his age, and he's acting out a bit younger (I think, maybe I'm wrong though) then most, maybe that's why? Does anyone else have or think it's possible for a 10 year old to already be hitting puberty? Do you think kids now a days are growing up too fast?

Well its not impossible that for sure. The one tip I have for you in this is not let bad behavior slip with the thought in your mind its only a stage that will end one day. Because if you always allow him to get away with emotion fits and behavior issues he won't change because he'll see you won't correct him for it anyway. You have to stay on top of it as if it was any other behavior.

As far as helping I hear certion types of diets help. Something to do with how a women on her period can eat ice cream and feel a little better. Not sure how all that works but if you'd like I can research it.

Question: Was he acting out like this before you became pregnant?

Yup, since the end of the summer he's been acting out. (we told him around Christmas about being a big brother).
& We do discipline him, but his BM and her family spoil him and they let him get away with anything. So it's like every time he comes back from visiting them we have to start all over.

Ah see I have this same problem with David's (my husband) little brother. His parents are kinda straight with him but his grandmother whom he spends a great deal of time with lets him get away with murder. She lets him do whatever and he acts like hes the boss of her. I've never seen a kid treat his grandmother so badly. I try to keep him in line with I have him and he kinda listens bu the minute someone shows up the colors start to show and he acts out all over.
