This pretty much turns into a war which the other people started btw. "It's really nice of you guys to camp on top of us."
Why do people gotta start s**t over nothing? There were no dry spots in pulls for awhile. All parties were synced at 37 for christs sake. There's enough colibris(and ladybugs) for everyone. We just ignored their little attempts at a raise out of us UNTIL they said some ignorant s**t.

Long story short, after we were done leveling we un-synched and obliterated every colibri,and ladybug in the area. They said they'd call a gm. I laughed and we sat there for like 15 minutes before we decided the gm must've told them not to be crybaby bitches. Haha. So, guild.. am I an a*****e? or did square-enix offer a new subscription where you can pay an additional 5 bucks to dictate an area? heart
(I know we probably should've moved but all other camps are pretty small/taken.) Anyway, this thread has been made for you to vent your FF11 stories. Because I know everyone has been there before and venting is good for the soul. THE SOUUUUL! #1 rule; No name dropping. This isn't a wall of shame just a place to vent.

Same old, same old. Camping on top of each other is a huge issue with FFXI, and it happens again and again. Although it is poor etiquette to camp where another party has got to first, it is to be expected that the second party's members wont want to start from scratch to find a free camp and the competition has to be put up with. Thankfully FFXIV will be different. No longer will you have a stationary camp, but instead there will be roaming parties. I'm sure this will solve the issue and look forward to it! I too have had my share of "fights" over camps.

I have such high hopes for FFXIV, I mean 11 has been a what? 10 year long practice run for Square-Enix. rofl I would be sorely disappointed if XIV didn't live up to my expectations. Which is going to be a low percent chance imo. eh, I hate e-fights because then people go on some forum and go "omgz add soso to forum blist he hurted my feelings." Even though everything is substantial. Until screenshotz.

No name drops though. Even though I'm pretty sure we're all on different servers. Maybe. ninja

Yeah~ So I played 11 a little over two years, off and on. I had a 75 PLD to my name.
I really loved the social aspect of the game, but I felt that it was too party oriented. Like you had to have the right connections?
I slowly began to lose interest, getting on only because of my dedication to my linkshell. They booted me one day because I put on a friend's LS just to say hi. Needless to say, I was quite angry~
Ugh.
Then I had a few runs, trying to get Joyeuse, my final time... I was /this/ close. My ninja was AFK. The two minutes he was gone... it spawned.
I don't even like thinking about it. Hopefully 14 fixes that frustration factor.

i went and did a joy toy run took me 1.5hrs to solo the damn thing as a dnc/nin
but hell lv.99 now and i only started a year ago. ;~;
i havent scratched the surface of the game yet

I'm planning on getting started with Final Fantasy XI. I really love to grind in J-RPGs, so I think that this game should be a perfect fit.

I was playing my PLD in East Altepa a long time ago. I had stayed up with little sleep the night before so I was very tired. We had pulled a mob and being the tank I am I provoked it and kept its attention. Mid fight I just fell asleep playing. I woke up to multiple calls and the bodies of me and my entire party. I apologized to them and explained what happened. Thankfully all but one person was very understanding. I offered to stay with them fighting my best to stay awake until they found a replacement tank. Thankfully I had a friend in my LS who offered to come take my place.

only downside is making a party really i LOVE XI but leveling is pretty tough which i love, DRG&DNC 75 within 6months

People do not want you unless you are a Samurai or Dragoon. My MNK friend has waited plenty of hours for a party before. Damn colibri era.. stressed @Rex: Well, I hope you really love to grind. I just recently got the game and it's kind of overwhelming. There is a lot of s**t to do.. I still havent even gone to the Promyvion yet in CoP. sweatdrop

yea the colibri suck, always pld, drg or sam x4 and a thf set up,
i would always have a pup in there for fun. my dnc never got any party's so i always made a Xarcabard (S) blm burn for my gf and i was puller
