I worked at Disney World last winter as part of the college program, and loved it! Has anyone else ever worked at Disney before?

I did that in 2002. I miss it so much. We're planning a reunion this spring...hopefully.

Rennis I worked at Disney World last winter as part of the college program, and loved it! Has anyone else ever worked at Disney before? I was there last year too! for the Spring advantage program (tis where I met me fiance, it tis) what was your job/location? I was outdoor foods at Magic Kingdom

CORRECTION:
My sister worked at Disneyland. Her boyfriend puked at the exit. She cleaned it up. She worked at Space Mountin and Bengal Barbeque. She then helped with POTC and HM.

I just went to a presentation and had an interview for it last week. I hope I get an offer. I applied for the costume, recreation, character attendent and lifeguard roles. I'm hoping for the costume role since i want to study costume design.
Maybe you all could tell me a little bit more about the experience of being down there.

I'd really like to do it, but I'm worried about missing a semester of college.
Thats two years away though, so I have time to sort it all out.
Mabye I'll do it over the summer or something like that one year (oh yay, Florida heat!)

I was a CP last fall. It was awesome! I had a fast-food job, but I worked with cool people and had a really awesome costume. I'm planning to go back down this summer and hopefully be a character. (I just auditioned on Thursday, and haven't heard anything yet, so wish me luck!!!)

GOOD LUCK!!! rofl rofl rofl 4laugh 4laugh Update: I passed the audition, but I wasn't placed in Entertainment because they didn't need anybody in my height range. Then, when I got back down to Florida, I went to a face character audition, and was fitted for Snow White, but I wasn't approved because I was just there for the summer and had already been assigned to a location in Attractions. So now I'm working at the Great Movie Ride and it is just the greatest job I could have hoped for! mrgreen

I didnt even try out for it really. I worked at the Thunder Mountian ride, but they asked if I would like to be a character. I said I wouldnt mind so I just put on a suit and acted like a nut job. Kind of funny.
Oddly enough, the two people most exicted to see you are the cute little kids, and the collge girls on summer vacation.
