To the one that I serve

Is traditional witchcraft a religion?

Is it a craft?

Is it an art?

Is it a spirituality?

I will give my all

That all depends. How are you defining "traditional witchcraft"?

Above all it's a craft. It has elements of spirituality, or it requires spirituality, or both. It's not an art, depending on how you define "art". To some it might be a religion in the sense that their own witchcraft is their primary "faith" as such.

It's not one thing. It's witchcraft that is traditional, not ceremonial or modern.

I wouldn't have said so. As with modern witchcraft, its a practice. I guess some aspects may be loosely tied to religion from what I've learnt but not majorly linked.

It is a craft. From what I've learnt its tricky to master and you need to be committed to learn.

I imagine it could be an art. I craft some quite pretty things that I use in magic that I use as a feature...that might be art?

I'm not even sure what spirituality is really hehe!

Is traditional witchcraft a religion?
I think there may be some practices of traditional witchcraft that are religious, but in general I don't think it is.

Loona Wynd
Is it a craft?
Yes. It is very much a craft.

Loona Wynd
Is it an art?
I like to think so.

Loona Wynd
Is it a spirituality?
In my experience I'd like to say it is, but that doesn't mean everyone will have the same experiences as me.

I will give my all

A craft. It might have something religious, something spiritual, and it might be art, too, depending on what kind of tradition we're talking about here, but most of all it's a craft. Everything else depends on the tradition in question.
