Sundapple was already awake ages ago. She saw the sun start to rise. It stained the sky pink and orange. She waited for the cats to crowd around her. So she could start ordering the patrols. She was made deputy not long ago, and she had gotten used to ordering cats around. Though at times, it felt a bit strange.

✲ Morningpaw ✲ 'I was born. . .Morningpaw stretched from inside her silent den. She was alone again, and sometimes she felt the stillness biting into her as if it was a rat. But not this morning.
The young apprentice leaped to her paws and silently made her way out of the apprentice's nook and out into the early-morning air. It was crisp and cool in her lungs, both refreshing and startling after her warm night. . . . with this calling for adventure.'

Șҕȧȡȭϣʆɩɕҕȶ Shadowlight yawned, opening her jaws wide. Then she got up to her paws delicately and padded out of the medicine cat's den. "Morningpaw, Sundapple," she greeted, heading towards the fresh-kill pile. "Anything happen while I was asleep?"

✲ Morningpaw ✲ 'I was born. . .Morningpaw jumped lightly when Treeclan's medicine cat addressed her, shaking her out of her trance. "Uh, no, not that I know of," she said, silently padding after Shadowlight toward the pile of fresh-kill. Now that she thought about it she was pretty hungry, she realized.
The apprentice gingerly reached forward and picked a small, black mouse from the pile, gripping it gently with her ever-sharpening fangs. She nodded lightly at Shadowlight and then made her way over to the gray stone the apprentices always shared their meals by. A few of them had already gathered but they gave no notice to Morningpaw as she layed down and began eating. . . . with this calling for adventure.'

Șҕȧȡȭϣʆɩɕҕȶ Shadowlight nodded back at Morningpaw. "Okay then," she meowed. She chose a juicy, fat, vole. "I'm off," she mumbled around the vole. "Got to sort my herbs." She left towards her den, her plumy black-blue tail swishing in the air as she trode lightly on the ground in the direction of the Medicine Cat Den.

✲ Morningpaw ✲ 'I was born. . .Morningpaw had long-sense finnished her meal and was now sitting inside the apprentice's den. Her mentor hadn't been able to train her that day and frankly she was glad for a day off. Yes, she loved the lessons. But today she felt restless and nervous and knew she wouldn't have been able to focus any how. But, even as she lay in her bed, Morningpaw felt. . . uncomfortable. Her paws tingled and she felt like she was needed somewhere, but she couldn't figure out why.
Sighing heavily Morningpaw got to her paws and silently padded out of her den again, her eyes scanning the camp. A queen had taken her older kits out to play and they were now rolling on the ground, pecking at each other playfully with sheathed claws. The apprentice couldn't help but smile, despite her mood. It had only been a few moons sense she had been doing the same.
Too quickly for Morningpaw's liking her paws again began to tingle and her eyes wandered to the camp entrance. Maybe she could just. . . go out hunting for a while. Extra fresh-kill wasn't exactly a need at the moment, but she couldn't stand her stationary state any more.
The small apprentice padded her way across camp and to the entrance. She took in a deep breath, then headed forward. She had to get out of there.
Once outside it was as if a cloud had been removed from in front of Morningpaw's thoughts, and she sighed, grateful. Then she looked around, questioning where to hunt. Hunting by the RainClan boarder would bring a lot of pray, but she didn't want to head back too soon -- or get into a fight with another cat.
Despite her hesitation she headed off toward the boarder any way -- it just felt right and she couldn't seem to convince herself otherwise. . . . with this calling for adventure.'

Șҕȧȡȭϣʆɩɕҕȶ Rummaging through her stock, Shadowlight inhaled. She loved this smell--minty, refreshing, herby, just...good. It smelled like nature, unlike the monsters and the twolegs. Shadowlight carefully sorted the herbs, placing them in different piles. The borage in the borage pile, the comfrey in the comfrey pile, the marigold in the marigold pile, the... Should I keep these or throw them away? Shadowlight wondered. What she was looking at were deathberries.
Bright, red, shiny, but most of all--poisonous. If a cat ate it, they would most likely die without help. Unless they threw it up, of course. She had picked these on a whim, thinking that they would come in handy sometime if a cat was deathly ill and wanted to die. But nothing had happened like that.
So now Shadowlight was stuck between a rock and a hard place. Throw it out, save her the trouble from keeping the pesky kits away from it? Or keep it to help cats who are so sick that they can't survive? Shadowlight ducked her head as she remembered what her old mentor had told her: "Good medicine cats never use deathberries if they can help it, Shadowpaw. Remember that." But Shadowlight had...right? She just hadn't listened.
She sighed, then decided to make up her mind later. Right now, her poppy seeds were almost out, and StarClan knows how important they were. Shadowlight got up lightly and padded out of camp, towards the RainClan border. They always had good poppy seeds.

Ƚiɠhtⓢⓣⓐⓡ The Treeclan Leader Lightstar padded out of her den. What should she do today? Train her apperantice? No. Hunt. Nah. So what should she do? She listened to her shomach grumble, and decided to get some prey. Lightstar walked over to the fresh-kill pile and decied to take a squirrel. The squirrel she chose was plump and she knew she couldn't finish it all herself. She looked over her shoulder trying to see if anyone was willing to eat with her.

Sundapple saw her leader, Lightstar and she dipped her head. "Morning Lightstar." She meowed. "Mind if I join you?" She asked as she picked up a thrush.

((Don't worry; happens to me all the time.)) Șҕȧȡȭϣʆɩɕҕȶ Shadowlight sniffed the air a bit worriedly. Although she was a medicine cat, and trespassing didn't really apply to her--even though she wasn't on RainClan territory yet--she still felt nervous. Cats could always make mistakes, right? And sometimes, just sometimes, those mistakes could be fatal...
Shadowlight gave herself a slight shake and continued on her way. Once she got to where TreeClan and RainClan's territories met, she went immediately to a small tree. There, a green bush was sheltered under the tree's shadow. Shadowlight bit down on a few poppy flowers' stems and started on the way back to camp.

✲ Morningpaw ✲ 'I was born. . .Morningpaw trotted along silently in the woods, enjoying every second of her freedom. It wasn't that she disliked camp at all -- she knew she would die (Not literally, but still) without this reality. But today. . . Well, it just felt good to be out on her own. . . . with this calling for adventure.'

Sundapple meowed, "Sorry to give you a fright." She dropped the thrush and she settled down. She plucked the feather's out, not wanting to have a coughing fit. Then, she took a bite of the thrush, and chewed slowly. She enjoyed the fresh meat, and the saltiness of the blood. The bones offered a bit of a crunch to it, and the feathers, well, she plucked them off, before she actually took the bite. Sundapple swallowed and meowed, "All's well with you Lightstar?"
