Do you keep a record of your craft workings?

What do you keep in there?

Is it written in a specific way?

Not really. I do write down the spells I've learned, to make sure I won't forget them, and sometimes put down notes about things related, but I don't actually keep a record of what I do. I find it to be... pretty much useless, for me at least.

I try to keep a record of all my workings but it doesn't always happen.

I have a big black book where my scribbles are written down. There I process spells and rituals (with many crossing-outs and torn out pages XD) in a diary/journalistic type form. I hope to rewrite it to make it more neat.

I also write it in first person so it isn't like I am reading a non-fiction book when I look back on it.

How i write my entry depends on what I am writing. Journal entries are first person. Exercises are written in a how to manner and experiences are written in first person. So my grimoire is a mixture of the two.

Though I am going to get some new binders so I can have more than one specific binder.

Depends how you think about "craft related". I note down tarot readings and journeys, and sometimes meditations if I feel they're significant in some way. Not spells really.

To each his or her own. The only reason I dont have all my spells recorded is that I don't always write them down before or after I do them.

I do. Its all in an A5, black, leather bound book I bought from my favourite online shop. I love the thing.
I keep a record of everything I do with regards to my craft.
It's organised in a specific way. I guess its written like a recipe book.

Well of course I have my BOS that I have full of history, Sabbat information, etc. Then I have another journal with darker information in it, curses and the like and some info on necromancy. I don't use it, I just like to know about it. Then I have another journal that covers dreams, Tarot readings and journeys. I only write down spells that I really found useful or ones that I would use at Sabbat times, and those are all in my BOS.

No. If anything becomes inappropriate or unusable I mark it in black but keep it in for reference. I often leave spaces for notes so that I can describe what happened when I first use something. Then I can figure out how to apply it elsewhere.
