❀ Personality
Idealist :
"We were all put on this world, together, to reap the seeds the gods put for us to use...The gods gave us all choices and opportunities and gifted us with free will and thought. Who is to say one person can possibly be better than another?"
Chau is a radical thinker of sorts, not only believing in feminist ways, but also that by right all are meant to be equal.
Being a Noble, Chau grew up in a household that has testified against the Emperor, along with many other of the Noble Retainers. She was taught how it was unfair for this man to rule so long and keep to ways that restricted their progress in this world. She took that to heart but...Chau began to think:
What about the rest of us? What of the women, the poor, the outcasts...? Those rejected by society just because they had always been so...?
Broadening her horizons, Chau began to talk about how it was unfair that these social borders restricted so much of their lives. She felt that they were all on equal standing and that none should be belittled for something so simple as gender or appearance; be it the war or the fact she was a woman, her ideas did not reach out to many. Yet Chau will not give up until her ideas have been acknowledged.
Stands Her Ground :
"I am the Mountain--I will not bow to the howling winds or the bashing waters. Go ahead and break me, but I will continue standing."
Chau could be seen as stubborn, refusing to budge at times and it isn't a sightly trait, but she likes to think otherwise. She is rooted firmly in her beliefs and ideas of right and wrong that she finds it unsightly someone would blatantly try to change her and be angry because she won't. Neither weak-willed or a pushover, Chau will stand tall no matter how many or who will try to pull her down.
Motherly :
"Just because I'm a woman, doesn't mean I can't be strong...But being strong doesn't meant I can't be gentle and soft."
Our little rebel has quite the maternal facet to her; while she will fight for her rights and knows how to speak her mind brashly, Chau can not hide this strange innate ability to care deeply for someone or something. It's quite motherly the way she will scold someone and wipe a smudge of dirt off someone's face...she can't help but feel it's something she must just do. Through being maternalistic, Chau is very patient when listening to other's problems and won't hesitate in being touchy-feely when she feel's it's appropriate. She is naturally caring in most cases and also very protective of others to a point of willing to risk her own life, should the need arise. As well, she connects to others who are older or much younger than her perhaps more easily then people her own age.
It was being told how motherly she was that Chau decided to pursue in being a priestess. Though her strong mind and will would benefit a warrior's heart, she understands that someone who so easily cares will be more suited to that of the more holy position. In becoming a priestess, Chau hopes that her words and ideas will be more easily accepted in the future.
Perceptive :
"I don't have to see with my eyes, for my mind and heart sees beyond the things before me. But my eyes do come in handy a lot."
Action Speaks Louder Then Words :
