Personally I believe that Dan Abnett is prehaps greater than RA Salvatore if at all possible, of course im also in sci-fi things as well

Then again, I've been reading World Literature stories since January, so... yeah... rolleyes

no but Frank Beddor is awesome he's the author of The Looking Glass Wars, it's his version of Alice in Wonderland it's really good.

I have no clue who any of the aforementioned authors are except for Riordan, and of course Salvatore.
Riordan is a very good author (hilarious, his writing puts me in a good mood), perhaps among my top ten favorites, but not any higher than fifth. I listed my other favs in the LoD vs. LotR discussion, and I'm too lazy to do so again right now.
