for those that have beeten the game, HOW COULD THEY KILL ZERO!!!!! it is going to be difficult to bring him back, it is obviouse that they will(unless they are just going to end the games with that). anyway how do you think they will bring him back?

zero is not dead...

Very true Weil, he has died on leadless occasions, and has also came back, i mean he survived Eurasia crashing to the earth so eh, what's stopping him with raganork. and it's still leaving to many loose ends which seem to be inafune's givin talent, I mean where have the gaurdians gone to? they should have a say in the zero series seing as harpy ( Harpuia ) saved zero's life.

Zero is, most-likely, still alive. I mean, when you see Zero's helmet out in the middle of nowhere you notice it's missing something in it... the crystal-like object that is attached to the forehead of every Reploid. Thus, Zero and his helmet have been seperated. And if that's happened, then it only begs for a sequel. Or something like it. Who knows, maybe Zero is finally dead (it'd be about damn time!). He has died way too many times in the Mega Man Series to not be dead by now. sweatdrop

In I think the japanese soundtrack of the game, or it might've been 'Vile's Incident' it showed Cyber Elf X and the Gaurdians looking down at Zero and Ragnarok crash down into earth. It also had the Gaurdians wearing these capes with 'X's on them, I guess representing their return to their true master. One can only wonder what role these 5 will have in the ZX series.

Sorry, but I see him as finally gone. It's not even so much because he died a hero's death. It was a suicide mission, no question about it. And this time, there is no Wily spirit to resurrect him. His body wasn't even found, and there's a good chance that the "soul" will have long left the body to enter the cyberworld before the body is found, thereby making another copy body would be irrelivant (I state this now before someone else tries to make that point). So, he's physically dead. If you want to believe that his soul lives somewhere in the cyberworld, as Phantom's soul had, then you're free to do so. It's plausable.

There is an image in the Physis soundtrack that depicts X and the Four Guardians (Phantom and X both are in thier humanoid cyber-elf forms) as they watch Ragnarok fall into oblivion. Before that, in the previous soundtrack (Teloz), one of the drama tracks show that it was X and Phantom that motivate Leviathan and Fafnir to return to Harpuia's side and have the three remaining Guardians help Zero in defeating Omega Mk. IV. So that much is confirmed. The guardians are with X when Ragnarok falls.

And there is no more wondering what the role for the guardians are in ZX. It's their spirit that grant you permission to use their Live Metal (Biometal) for justice.

And for the record, the "teacher-like figure" in ZX is Vent/Aile's boss, a human who dawns the Z Live Metal.

I like to think he is alive... mainly 'cause I am too much of Ciel fan... XP B

I have to say that Zero is... no comment.

Actually, if you want to point out offical art... There is also one of Zero (sleeping or out like a rock in fainted terms) in Area Zero with butterflies flying around him. Very much so intact, BTW. And that came from one of the piccys of the Physics CD.

Besides, if Capcom can find more ways to get money, they'll keep Zero alive. AND find a way to bring him back too.
Hey, but I would like at least a MMZ anime.. *drools thinking about it* They already have the Manga... (speaking of it... I wonder how THAT is going to end...)
