I thought it might be useful to have a thread where we can link useful resources for writing research. The other day I came across this website:
Research Links for Romance WritersSome of the links are broken, unfortunately, but it still has a bunch of links to resources for all kinds of information (though of course some of these sites are more reliable than others as well, but it's a start). For example: How to cook medieval, Glossary of castle terms, Steamboat history and facts, Guide to lock-picking, etc.
I figure, even if some of the links are broken, it might give you ideas and keywords to pop into Google for more information.
So, do you have any helpful research links?
