So my mom got me a $300 phone .___.
I DONT WANT FFFFFAJHFNJKHFJABJBAJFB
Its nice and stuff, but with $300 I could've bought so many better things D8 And its just a phone! I've had my first free one for 3 years, and it still works fine
I could've gotten a subpar laptop or a s**t load of books or FJJABFb
Now that I think about it, I hate people giving me gifts irl D:
And now I have to actually take care of it. And Im screwed if I lose it D; And I might actually be mugged now

My phone was $80. >.>
Nothing fancy. It gets the job done. All I use it for is texting and phone calls.
I don't need no fancy s**t like that monstrosity of phone called the iPhone.

I only buy a new phone when the warranty expires and it gets broken/unfixable after this happens, so yeah, it's like every 3 years, and I tend to keep it under 100€. xD

My bf bought the new nexis1 when it came out
talk about a waste of 600 dollars O>O
I can kinda understand though, he does a lot of development and programming for it
*shrugs*
I bought mine so long ago I don't even remember how much it cost
got it off craigs list though biggrin
I hate getting gifts as well..

I get a new phone about every 2 years, simply because I can get a new one nice and cheap when I renew my contract. I've never payed full price for a phone, and I never plan to.
I never know what to say when I get a gift, especially an expensive one. Heck, I got $100 for my birthday from my grandparents, and I was freaking out to my mom about how they shouldn't spend so much money on me. And the same with the clothes they got me for christmas from a really nice store. I hate that they spend so much money on me, especially since they're retired, so they're on a fixed income now. And I've got three siblings, and they spend a lot on all of them, too.

All free phones for me. Because I use phones for phone calls. Well, I text too, but you don't need anything more than a free model to do that either.

gonk my boyfriend loves buying me things and it always makes me feel bad because they aren't just little stuff they're things like an Ipod Touch and an emerald necklace etc @_@ I always tell him not too because I don't need fancy things but he never listens sad

I always buy my electronics refurbished.
My phone is an LG Vu for 10$
But my parent's don't pay for the data plan, because all I do is talk and occasionally text.
My mom randomly bought an iphone, but she got it for 100$ because it was time for an upgrade.

I have an Alias2. Last phone was an Alias1.
It's simple. It has a keyboard. It's easy to use. It's not very glitchy and it's survived all the times I've dropped it.
It wasn't that expensive, either- I think maybe $100? It's pretty nice for something that doesn't run applications though. All I need, all I want.
I don't like getting gifts either. That's like... one of the most awkward situations ever ;w;

I know some jobs require smart (and expensive) phones (like the Droid, Backflip, etc.)
My oldest sister is a sheriff deputy and has to have one.

My ex had this pretty fancy phone.
It kinda looked like an iPhone, but it was from Samsung. I forget what it's called.
Sometimes I'd tease her, saying that someday its gonna break due to her being really clumsy. xD
