Devil May Cry(19.99 or less at retailers):
The game that started it all, Devil May Cry. One of the best games by Capcom, ever. A great addition to the Playstation 2 adventure genre. Dante(the main character), is a merecenary who is legendary in both the real world and the next. He is the son of the legendary dark knight Sparda. He meets Trish, a rebel devil, who wants his help to defeat the lord of the underworld, Mundas, whom his father defeated over 1000 years ago. He and Trish go to Mallet island to fight the vile demon and protect the world from his evil. This is a great game, and deserves to be in anyone's video game collection. Beat Dante must Die mode, and you unlock 2 special modes that make the game even more fun. Don't pass this game up!

Devil May Cry 2(19.99 or less at retailers):
A depressing sequal to a great game. This game was made by a entirely different development team, and(compared to the original) is an attrocity. Dante gets called on a job to help Lucia, a fellow demon hunter, to try and obtain items to stop the owner of a giant company from obtaining powers. not a great story, nor a great game. The game is more focus on gunplay, and devil trigger mode. It's really easy, and lacks the qualities the original game had. The only real reason to really buy this game, is to play as Trish once you beat both must die modes on both discs.

Devil May Cry 3(release date: Rumored to come out 2/01/04)
Devil may cry 3, looks great don't it? This prequal to DMC1 is being developed by both of the development teams for both Devil May Cry 1 & 2, although the game's director hasn't been announced yet, but apparently "he's got a lot of experiance throwing fireballs." The game introduces a new Style system in which Dante has focuses on different traits, and characteristics. Supposedly there are going to be 7 styles, but only 4 have been announced as of yet. Royal guard, specializing in hand to hand, Trickster, specializing in acrobatic moves, Swordmaster and Gunslinger, kinda obvious what those 2 specialize in. The game also promises to have great game cinematic sequences. With the action Director of Versus, Yuji Shimomura. Oh, and the main bad guy? His brother, Virgil. Here's a Trailer:

Viewtiful Joe for PS2(Out now for $29.99)
The hit by Capcom's Team Viewtiful(now named Clover Studios) is taking it's action from Gamecube to Playstation 2, with a great addition, Dante. Dante and trish are in this great port for a great game. Dante is a playable character, taking Joe's spot and trying to save Trish. But Dante actually has his own story, and even runs into Joe during the game(maybe they'll even fight)

Shin Megami Tensei: Nocturne(Out now for $49.99)
Dante makes a guest appearance(in his Devil May Cry 2 ensemble, but what appears to be the same bad a** attitude from Devil may cry 1) in this "Directors cut" of a altus RPG. He can either be your ally or foe, so choose wisely, because he might be hard to beat.

Devil May Cry movie(Production starts in 2005)
A japanese studio has bought the rights to make DMC into a movie, along with Tekken and Onimusha. The movie won't be in production for a while, due to the fact that the company already started working on the Tekken movie. Devil May Cry Comic(#1-3 out now, #4 will come out soon)
A 4 part DMC comic is out. Based upon the classic game we know and love. Dante and Trish go to Mallet island to beat Mundas, but... aw you know the story.
