Celadon City DESCRIPTION -Celadon City is located in central Kanto. It is one of the largest cities in the region, second only to the giant Saffron City in the east. The city has two entrances, one from the east via Route 7, and one from the west via Route 16. Celadon's Gym Leader is, at the moment, Cain Abellé, and Eusine, the hunter that pursues Suicune, was also born here. LOCATION -Celadon City is located in central Kanto. PEOPLE - Celadon City is a very large city, second only to Saffron City, and the people here are usually very busy, either shopping at the department store, or gaming at the game corner for all sorts of interesting prizes. RESOURCES/EVENTS - Celadon City Gym - The Celadon City Gym is home to the Celadon City Gym Leader, Cain Abellé, who happens to specialize in fighting-type pokemon, despite his laidback nature. This Gym was previously owned by Erika, a specialist in grass-type Pokemon. Celadon Department Store - This Department store is huge, and means there is no need for a PokeMart. Almost any item imaginable can be purchased here for the right price, and trainers can sometimes get themselves TMs for helping out others within the store. Pokemon Center - This city only has a Pokemon Center, with the PokeMart being replaced by the larger department store Game Corner - Despite the rather nasty Team Rocket business several years ago, the Celadon Game Corner has flourished, attracting people of all ages and walks of life to have a go on their famous slot machines and their Voltorb Flip table. The entrance to the old Hideout hasn't been touched since Red cleared the Rockets out, but it's unlikely it still works, given how long its been since it received any maintenance. MYTH/LORE - Being a bustling metropolis, Celadon City isn't home to any real myths or legends.

We interrupt your regularly scheduled program to bring you this special news bulletin: We're here on site in Celadon City, where both relief and tragedy are thrown together this day. It seems as if a miracle has happened, for the city's year-long mystery regarding the missing body of Yuna Takahara, who had died from leukemia just a few months before disappearing. The woman's body, which seems to be cryogenically frozen, was brought to the Takahara family by a group of Pokemon, whom allegedly belonged to Yuna's fiancee, Professor Nick Cypress. Despite being happy that their daughter had been returned to them after the grave-robbing nightmare had finally come to an end, the Takahara family shared in the grief along with the Cypress family, who had received a note delivered by another one of the Pokemon. The note appears to be written by Nick Cypress, the young Professor that was engaged to Yuna Takahara. It briefly explains that it was in fact Professor Cypress that had taken the body of his betrothed, and had committed various crimes against humanity in an effort to "bring her back to life," as its described. After these confessions, the letter goes on to say that Cypress had released his Pokemon to return home, and had committed suicide in an unknown location. Devastated by this news, the Cypress family hopes that their son is at peace, and plan to hold a funeral service for him, as well as Ms. Takahara. After the ordeal had been settled, the Pokemon that delivered the body and the note have gone about their separate ways. Nick's Exploud decided to stay with the Cypress family, while the Absol, Drifblim, and Swampert have left the city, leaving behind the last memories of their former trainer. We also have word that a Gardevoir was among them, which once belonged to Yuna Takahara, and was returned to the Takahara family for them to take care of. It is uncertain where the others are going to, but one thing for sure is that nobody in Celadon City will ever forget this day. This is Jackie Bauer in Celadon City. Back to you in the studio.

†¤~(((‡Cain Abellé‡)))~¤† Fighting Type Gym-Leader of Celadon City
It was barely morning, the sun hadn't made it's mark yet, and the streets were still foggy from last night's rain. There were a few people scuffling about in the cobblestone streets, from one place to another. The city was near still besides the people and pokemon walking about. Cain had walked outside from the department store, carrying bags of groceries and handfuls of cans, potion, and other assorted goods, dropping a few as he went. Right behind him, his Primeape behind him, picking up cans as they weaved through the city streets.
Some people waved and greeted the two as they scurried over to the city gym. They must of heard news that the gym was finally being put to use after Erika retired. Cain couldn't help but to feel elated at the fact he had his own gym, where trainers would pass by and try to put there pokemon to the test before moving onwards to obtain the rest of their badges. It was heartwarming to think of. if his parents were to see this, they'd be proud.
They stopped at the large, heavy gym door as Cain fumbled around groceries to get the keys, before spilling the majority of them of the grounded. "Ahh...Dammit..." He stuck the key in the lock, turned the tumblers, and click. He shoved the rather bulky door open to find a large, dark cobblestone hall leading upto a staircase. Whoever did the renovations did a nice job. Bookcases filled with leatherbound books, rocks and some of his own possesions, lined up behind bulletproof glass. A line of large windows letting the light from the now rising sun in, and a staircase off to the side, leading upto his study and bedroom. It had been a dramatic change from when he saw the gym as a kid, but it still felt homely. It even still smells like flowers...
His Primeape, Calloway had begun dragging in the rest of the groceries he had dropped outside the door, and began putting them away in the fridge in the kitchen off to the side. He noticed a note left on an end-table in a familiar handwriting, signed off and all.
"I hope you're as happy as I am, Cain. I'll visit as much as I can. You've been good to me, take care"-Edgar
Cain smiled at the note, and tucked it in his coat pocket. That man raised him to be who he was today, and without him, who knows where he'd be. After all the unpacking was done, he retired to his study, and nodded off to an early morning nap. Now to wait for some kid to barge through to door and challenge him. "To be or not to be... That wasn't necessarily the question here.
