DESCRIPTION -
Mt. Moon is a mountain located in northern Kanto, between Pewter City in the west and Cerulean City in the east. Climbing does not seem to be possible; to get past it, travelers always need to travel through the caves.

Mt. Moon is known for being one of the few places that wild Clefairy can be found and for its frequent meteor falls. The shards of meteorites that fall here become Moon Stones, thus giving it the name Mt. Moon. The mountain is also known for being home to Pokémon fossils. Brock digs for fossils here in his spare time.

LOCATION -
Mount Moon is located in northern Kanto.

PEOPLE -
Most people here are looking for either Clefairy, Moon Stones, or the elusive fossils of long extinct pokemon. Most trainers have cleared out except for the few looking for their respective treasures, but there are a variety of pokemon to be found here as well.

RESOURCES/EVENTS -
Oh no, not again!! - As with Viridian Forest, trainers will often drop small items like potions, pokeballs, the occasional Leaf Stone, or even the treasured Moon Stone while exploring the caves.

MYTH/LORE -
Mount Moon is said to be the home of many Clefairy who worship the Moon around a giant Moonstone, but these rumors have yet to be reported as fact.

Leaving Pewter felt like a great accomplishment. With one badge down, Lexia was feeling pretty great. She marched forward with a cocky smirk. Right about now, the young trainer felt as though she could take on the world. Both of her Pokemon were tucked away in their Poke'balls. Having them both out would slow her down. Perhaps not Nova too much, but Binx had to slide forward, or she had to let him wrap around her waist. And though she loved her little dragon belt, he did eventually get heavy.

The path to Mt. Moon went by rather quickly. Sure, she came up against an angsty trainer and did a quick battle, but her winning streak had her keeping up her pace faster than usual. She simply wanted to get to the next gym as soon as possible. The girl had heard the rumors about this cave. Silly things such as moon worshiping Clefairies. Lexia rolled her eyes. Pokemon didn't really have a deity. Well, maybe Arceus. Either way, the whole story seemed like some little fairytale. And she was fifteen now! No time for things like that.

"Huh. Dark." Lexia muttered as she took her first few steps inside. She could hear the water dripping off of the cave ceiling, and the further off screeching of Zubats. She hated those things. They were in such large numbers, and they were so annoying with their confuse ray and such. She stuck her tongue out in distaste. Yup. Nothing like a few Zubat to ruin your mood. With a sour expression, she made her way further into the cave. As expected she had to whip out her Pokemon a few times to make the pesky things leave, even faint, before she could go further in.

However, there was a strange noise coming further ahead. It was kind of like a chanting sound. "That's strange." Lexia whispered. She followed the noise to a spot where it looked like the cave had collapsed. But, in the shadows under a larger boulder, there was a small crawl spot. Not many would be able to fit through it, but Lexia was just small enough to give it a try. She shimmied through the opening, and was shocked by the image in front of her.

Clefairy, and a giant stone on top of a pillar. Steps lead up to this shining rock, and there was a line of hopeful pink Pokemon. On top of the pillar, beside the rock, was another Clefairy. She was somewhat different, though. For one, her complete attitude was different. Whereas the others were obedient and cheery, she was indignant and prissy. Apparently she was some type of leader. But, aside from her mannerisms, she also appeared different. Her fur was a lighter shade of pink than the others, and the tip of her ears were green instead of brown.

Lexia found herself staring as each Clefairy walked up and greeted the queenly one on top. She seemed to inspect them, and either turn them away or allow them to touch the stone. When they did, their bodies shuddered and glimmered until they were actually the evolved Pokemon of their former selves. The girl must have been watching for quite some time. Very few of these space Pokemon were allowed to transform. "She sure seems like a prissy little princess." Lexia huffed under her breath. Without warning, the Pokemon in question jumped to the side and glared at Lexia full on. For a moment the trainer wondered if she was spotted. There was no way! She was in the shadows. "Clef! FAAAIRY!" Yup. She was seen.

An army of angry pink Pokemon rushed forward. "I choose you, Binx! Whip them away with Twister!" The dragon burst forward in an array of light. A sudden change in air caused the tornado to startle up. The Clefairy jumped around, trying to avoid it, but many got sucked into the vortex and were thrown across the room. This continued about two more times before most of them were laying passed out around the room. Clefable, about five in total, circled around the dragon, chanting in a mysterious tone. "Fairy. Clefairy. " The larger forms looked over to the leader with a surprised but accepting glance. They ushered away, allowing her to step forward.

Lexia and the Clefairy sized each other up, each remaining silent and curious. The small Pokemon reached up her paw, and a magical energy began to spin around it. She rushed forward and smacked Binx straight across his head, doing so three times before he slapped her away with his tail. The attack was Double Slap, but she had some strange energy that made the attack critical. The energy dissipated, and the Clefairy was left standing with a warning stare. "Okay, princess, I'm not going to just stand here while you attack us! We were just watching you and your friends and then you attacked us! Binx, Dragon Rage!" With an angry roar, the blue Pokemon held onto the Clefairy and issued his attack. "CLEF!" She screamed, and pounded her paw onto his body. He released her, though he seemed still full of the raw anger.

A graceful look overcame as she opened her mouth. A musical chant, different from the one earlier, began to float to Binx. Lexia found herself getting sleepy. She looked over to see her dragon in the midst of dreamland. 'I have to do something before I fall asleep...' Lexia could barely think as Sing had her sliding back against the wall towards the floor. "Gust." Nova then made her entrance. As soon as she was released, she let out a storm of wind that sent the magic Pokemon flying back, and hushing the song that was coming out. Nova flew to Lexia and Binx and packed both their heads to wake them up. Though Binx remained oblivious in his slumber, Lexia jumped up and waved her fist around. "You didn't have to go that far!" She simmered. Nova snickered and then looked towards the Clefairy that was getting up.

"Quick Attack!" With the last hit, the leader of Clefairy fell. Lexia threw a ball, hitting her and watching the Pokemon go into the ball. It ticked a few times, and then with a 'ding!' the Pokemon was caught. "Well, then." The other Clefairy were starting to awaken, and the Clefable didn't seem too happy either. "Ahhhh, Clefairy!" The little pink Pokemon appeared tired and worn. She looked at her followers and held up her hand. They looked at one another, but remained silent and still. "Clefairy fairy." She walked over to one of the Clefable. She gave it a kind smile as it bent down. "Clef. Fafairy." With that, a magical glow encircled the Pokemon. This was the new leader, with the ability to use the giant Moon Stone. Lexia then realized that the Clefairy was truly staying with her, and that she was giving her leadership over.

The trainer ran forward and scooped up her new Pokemon. "Welcome to the team! Now for a name. You know, you're pretty much the queen prissy around here. How about Prissy?" After receiving a look of disapproval Lexia decided on the name. "Welcome to the team, Princess."

((OoC: You don't mind that Princess is a shiny, do you? >.<; ))
