Cherrygrove City  DESCRIPTION -Cherrygrove City is a small city a stone's throw away from New Bark Town - while it possesses no Gym, it is often passed through by many a trainer heading from New Bark Town toward Violet City. The small town has two entrances, one from the east via Route 29 that leads to New Bark Town and Route 46, while the other one, Route 30, lies to the north, leading up to a Dark Cave, Route 31, and Mr Pokemon's House. It contains little of note, save a small Poke Mart and Poke Center. LOCATION -Cherrygrove is located in southern Johto. PEOPLE - People here are, as a rule, quite helpful - the Guide Gent especially is more than willing to help anyone looking lost find their way. RESOURCES/EVENTS/PLACES OF INTEREST - Poke Center: - Cherrygrove contains the first Poke Center trainers will encounter coming from New Bark Town, and as such receives quite a lot of foot traffic from trainers needing to heal their Pokemon. Poke Mart: - Cherrygrove also contains the first Poke Mart, which, although it contains only a basic selection of goods, makes no small amount of money supplying trainers with Potions, Poke Balls and Status Healers. MYTH/LORE - Being the second smallest settlement in all of Johto, Cherrygrove City does not have any major myths or beliefs.

"Ahh Cherrygrove, brings back some memories." Zanna said feeling a lot better than last night. Soon she found Kloud looking around, he began to reminisce as mostly because he was just a little Growlithe back when she first came to this town.
She very happily followed him as he began to greet familiar people, Zanna also conversed with some people who'd she had met before long a go. A bunch of heys, how are yous and stuff were repeated over and over, but that didn't bother her much.
Zanna began to slip her hoodie back on as she looked at Taffy and Loony with an egg. What the?! Did they?! Who wha-? she thought because now this probably...No, it was completely impossible for pokemon of two different breeds to mate wasn't it?
Should I call Dad or Elm about this? she thought looking at them and soon being scooped up by Kloud happily. Her lips curved into a smile as Sundae her lovely Pidgeot also scooped her up and hovered about the group with happiness. Finally seems just about two lamps brighter, that could've been because the sun was out and so was she. Zanna didn't have a general preference for pokemon type as long as they accepted her than she was fine.
Her brown eyes quickly snuck a peek at Seth and she smiled more soon, Sundae wanted to show off. "Whoa!" she said laughing and finding out that he was doing spirals and flips through the air. This was her family, pokemon..The best things ever found since love.

"Loony! Stop throwing Poke Balls at me!" After a slightly restless night's sleep (for Seth, at least), the little group had made an early start in the morning in order to reach Cherrygrove City in good time. Around about 11:00 AM, they came to the end of Route 29 from New Bark Town, with the small settlement of Cherrygrove in sight. Seth sighed in relief, a sigh echoed by Toby, Domo and Loony (and, he thought oddly, by the egg in his bag - he swore he felt it rock slightly under its own power when he laid eyes on the small city. "And there it is, people - Cherrygrove City! Oh am I glad to see that . . ." He had to grin at the sight of Kloud and then Sundae scooping Zanna up - they seemed rather relieved to have arrived here. In the mean time, however, he looked to Loony and Taffy with their egg - he expected it wasn't theirs, most likely one they'd found while on Route 29, so he wasn't too worried about it.

Zanna began to look over at Seth who seemed a little happy to be here. Kloud came over and scooped up Seth happily, "At least Kloud has taken a liking to someone other than me." she laughed as Sundae now hovered above her, she had front flipped off the bird and landed beside the huge legendary pokemon.
She ran fingers through her hair, "So how'd ya' sleep?" she asked him trying to break some silence.

 ~Alessandra Monotoli: Rocket Spy~ Alessandra groaned from the pain in her back. Her leg had finally calmed down while she slept, though she still walked with the limp she always had. Her back was another story. She had only brought a thin, cheap sleeping bag just in case she had run out of money to spend at a hotel. The Rocket preferred not to sleep outside, and would walk all night until she found someplace to stay.
Zanna was cheerful and peppy as always, playing with her Pokemon. Alessandra used to do the same when she traveled in Kanto, but now it was hard to have fun with a ghost, a silent floating animal, and a creature that spent most of its' time underground.
Cherrygrove wasn't as great as Alessandra had expected. Though, she did appreciate that it was on the coast, as she loved the smell of the air of costal cities.
"I slept fine Zanna, thanks for asking." she said. She knew the question wasn't directed to her, but she decided that this girl would be fun to mess with during her mission.
"Say...why don't we stop at the Pokemon Center? Our parents probably want us to give them updates." she said. Her parents couldn't care less about how their little girl was doing. All they were concerned about was the state of their organization.

Zanna eyes narrowed in suspicion at this girl, Kloud did the same but he could hide it easily through his fur. "That's nice to know Alessandra, sorry that I didn't ask you." she told her and began to look at her. Sundae began to analyze her with its Keen Eye, Sundae didn't like this girl and maybe he had a good reason not too. Soon her brown eyes turned around as her body did to look at Loony and Taffy, "You guys probably found it didn't you? It's like you're a temporary couple, how cute." she told them with a small smile. Taffy snuggled her head against the egg and then Loony happily, "I'm sure you all will be just fine." Zanna assured the two small ferret and raccoon like creatures.
Happily she found herself now calling Sundae to return to his pokeball. Why do I have a feeling something bad is going to come from this group alone? she thought distancing herself from the group and prepared to at least call her Dad. Soon taking out her Pokegear and began to dial in his number to contact him "Hello?" a deep male voice answered her, "Hey dad, What's up? I'm traveling around with a couple of new friends." she said sitting in a patch of flowers alone keeping a close eye on everyone especially Kloud and Taffy.
"Oh ya' know hun, same ole' , same ole'" this made her smile "Well I just wanted to let you know how I was doing, I can see Snorlax in the background. He's a sleep right?" Zanna gueesed probably being correct since Snorlax was the only pokemon that could snore loud enough for her fathers' speech to get cut out just a little bit. "Yeah, he's been out for a while after he ate the cake you sent over for my birthday, but you know how he is." he told her chuckling a bit. "Alright dad, I'll let ya' go. I love you." she ended. "Love ya' too bye hun." he hung as did she.
Zanna stood back up and dashed over to the group, her right hand began to stroke Kloud's fur that wasn't being occupied by Seth's body that had been scooped up earlier.

"Nate"  Water is the way to go After Nate and KipKip were done training, they head back to the Poke'Center. KipKip eats some Poke'food as Nate readies a sleeping bag before calling his mother.
Ring-ring... Ring-ring... Click!
"Hello?" His mom asks after she answers. Nate quickly replys; "Hi mom! It's Nate. I just wanted to tell you that I made it to cherrygrove. We're at the Poke'Center right now." They continue to talk for a while, eventually saying goodbye to each other and ending the call. He quickly heads to the bathroom to change into his pajamas, coming out and sitting on his sleeping bag. He pulls out one of his berry pots, watering the small Oran Berry tree that was just begining to flower.
OhOhSea//I'm asuming that, like in the anime, you can sleep in the Poke'Centers. That's correct, right? If you want to have fun

 Ponyta, a horse that's amazing. It was only by coincidence that the ponyta was headed in the same direction as those humans from the night before, as it reached the edge of the town...All these strange constructions by those two legged creatures...a wandering hoothoot, apparently owned by one of those creatures, had spoken to the ponyta, calling them humans.
Well if they were living peacefully with pokemon, he ( this being the ponyta, but I have no other ways to refer to him) didn't have anything to worry about now did he? Thus he emerged from the bushes he once again took to hiding and just sauntered casually into the town...needless to say people were confused to see his particular species wild in the area.
Taking a whiff of the air, the fire horse pokemon snorted with glee, obviously liking the scent of the flowers, and lowered it's head in order to munch on some of the delicious, bright colored flora. However once it spotted a strange shiny strip of grass, it turned it began to chew on it (which was apparently a candy wrapper). Around this point he heard a boy's voice, one of those humans...oddly enough being able to understand them:
"Alright! With this pokemon I'll get my first badge in no time! Hoothoot, use tackle!"
Lifting his head up to see what exactly this human was talking abou-
Ponyta was then sent sprawling as the same pokemon it had talked to before rammed into it's side. Being the first to get back up, the horse pokemon snorted before charging past it's assailant and heading straight for the kid who'd ordered the attack...
...so much for that 'oh humans are nice' thought.

 ll Cookie ll Cookie looked around, A town. He thought as he looked at the buildings with wonder. Cookie had always seemed to avoid human settlements... well expect Goldenrod city as the other tribe-less Smeargles seem to call it as they just draw all day on a wall. "Smearg.... [Wow]"

"You-!" Livid shouted. Her one shoe still on made her run a bit odd, but she managed a quick sprint before gravity threatened to take her down again. Quite unfairly, the small Mareep easily danced out of range. And with insult to injury, he claimed the hilltop with a "Maa~" and a slobbery black and orange shoe. Said shoe flopped like something dragged up from a watery grave.
"Mutton! I swear, you'll be mutton by the 'morrow!"
Two miltanks grazed on nearby, used to the action and not caring one bit.

~Alessandra Monotoli: Rocket Spy~ Alessandra smirked at Zanna's response. "Oh, it's quite alright Zan. Sorry 'bout my attitude, I didn't sleep good, and my back hurts." she said, though she had just stated earlier she slept fine.
These trainers seemed to like to keep their Pokemon out a lot. Alessandra had only taken them out to eat. Though, since Pokeballs kept the monsters in stasis, they didn't need to eat very often.
Zanna was using her PokeGear to talk to a family member. Had any Rocket scientists figured out how to tap into those things? She'd have to ask her uncle about that if she could get a quiet call with him, seeing how he knew other members with some say over that division.
Alessandra walked away, and passed Tyler.
"Like I said, we should probably go to the Pokemon Center of this town. They'll probably give us a light breakfast, and we can call our parents. Then we should hit up some drugstores to get some food and supplies, and later the PokeMart. ...Of course, this is all up to Seth." she said as she passed the boy.
Alessandra walked over to the Smeargle, and pat its' head.
"You ever seen a human city before, lil' buddy?" she said as she let out her Gastly. Duster glared at the paint-beagle and looked back to his master. She motioned for him to go over to the Smeargle as she examined the city.
["...Well, I suppose you and your tribe come to cities like this to vandalize, right?"] it hissed at Cookie.

Seth's eyes widened as he was scooped up by Zanna's over-zealous Arcanine, clambering off as soon as he felt Kloud wouldn't be too offended and before all the blood rushed to his head. Seeing the little spat between Zanna and Alessandra made his eyebrows quirk in confusion - he might have to keep those two separate before they got too angry at each other - but nonetheless replied to both of them. "I slept fine, thank you Zanna, and it's nice to know you slept well too, Alessandra, at any rate." The suggestion of visiting the Poke Center was all well and good with Seth, and he waited until Zanna had finished her call to point his thumb toward the Center questioningly, hoping for a reply from everyone. "Poke Center seems like a good idea to me." They all seemed content to follow his lead, which was good - he wasn't sure how he'd react to being told what to do. Loony, meanwhile, was checking the egg over for cracks and the like, all the while chattering to Taffy. "Zigzzigigzag?" [What do you think will hatch from it?] He looked at it for a moment. "Zigzag, zigzoon?" [A Larvitar, maybe?] It was the first Pokemon to come to mind - he had no idea why. ((Yep, you can sleep in the Poke Centers, Neito. 3nodding ))

~Alessandra Monotoli: Rocket Spy~ Alessandra smiled as she walked over to Cherrygrove's Pokemon Center. The automatic door slid open as she stepped on the mat with an image of a Pokeball. The building wasn't very busy. There were a few trainers there that had spent the night, and were now getting a meal of fruit, milk, and toast. Alessandra walked over to one of the video phone booths. She typed in the number her uncle had requested her to use during her mission. The line would be untraceable so the police wouldn't be able to find the Rocket's location. As the line was connecting, Alessandra turned the video option off. Aldo Geldegarde was known to many authorities in both Kanto and Johto.
"...I thought I told you to email me." a gruff voice said, slightly annoyed.
"But uncle Aldo, you know how much I enjoy talking to you over the phone!" she said, with a phony giggle.
"Well, your uncle Aldo is proud of you continuing your Pokemon journey. Now, have you met any nice kids?"
"Yes uncle Aldo!" she said loudly. "Three boys and a very experienced girl! Thier Pokemon are great!"
"Aww, that's gret Alle-girl! Now, I'v just sent you a gift. I've got to run, I've got a conference call coming up. Check the PC at the Pokemon Center! Make sure to email me next time you get to a Center. Ciao!"
The receiver clicked, and the line beeped, signifying the call was over. Aldo seemed to be in a rush. Was it because he was nervous talking on the phone to Alessandra?
The pink haired girl walked over to an open computer, and signed into the account she had made before coming to Johto. Her normal Rocket account couldn't risk being traced in a foreign country. The computer welcomed her with a chime, and she went to her mail. Aldo had sent her three potions, and two Pokeballs. Alessandra put in her confirmation code, and the tray next to the computer began to glow. One after another, the items materialized. Alessandra put them into her backpack, and sent Aldo a quick 'thank you' before signing off.
"Well, want to take advantage of the free food, or have Zanna cook up us something?" she said to Seth. Honestly, she couldn't care less about Zanna, but she wanted to let Seth think that she enjoyed the group.
"I'm still amazed at this technology..." she said, glancing back at the row of personal computers.
