Turnabout Tarot
The story
On 17 November at 9:30pm Mr DeLyon and Mr Vandamir were having a meeting in Mr DeLyon’s study. At 10:00pm Mr Vandamir was found dead in Mr DeLyon’s study.
Mr DeLyon has been given an alibi by Ms. Catherine Belle who states that Mr DeLyon had left the room and she had been in the room serving tea, she is adamant that she committed the murder.
Mr Vandamir was stabbed in the neck on the right-hand side with a knife-shaped Letter Opener. There are no prints on the weapon, Catherine claims to have wiped them off with her apron.
Our story beings on the first day of the Trial of Catherine Belle. It is the policy of the law system in our country to bring all cases before a judge, even cases where the accused is admitting to their crime. The reason for this? Pursuit of the truth. By understanding how, where and why these things happen, it is hoped that further tragedy can be avoided.
Jareno Onerage, Attorney at Law, has been asked by Rosa Belle to defend her sister, Catherine, in her up coming trial. She is adamant that her sister, despite her claims, is totally innocent and could not have been the killer.
Before Jareno gets chance to question his client or Ms. Rosa in any depth, court begins.....

*Before the trial begins the Defence Attorney, Jareno Onerage, is afforded a few moments to speak to his client Catherine Belle and her sister, Rosa Belle.*
Court is due to start in 10 minutes, Jareno received an urgent call the night before from Rosa pleading for help; Jarenowas the only attorney that didn't say no. Everyone else had given up on Catherine as she is adamant that she is the criminal in this case...
