National Park  DESCRIPTION -Johto's National Park is a quiet and vibrant park quite a few acres large, though only one acre is open to the public, with the rest containing wildlife judged too endangered to be exposed to passers-by. However, that one acre is just as beautiful as the rest, being host to many Bug and Grass-type Pokemon, which are the center of attention on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays when the park organizers hold a Bug Catching Contest. If you want a place to just sit back and watch the world go by, this would be the one. LOCATION -The Park is located in central Johto. PEOPLE - People here are usually from all around Johto, meaning there's no one way to describe them - one thing they do hold in common, however, is a desire to get away from the hustle and bustle of daily life, a desire they quench by visiting the Park. RESOURCES/EVENTS/PLACES OF INTEREST - Bug Catching Contest: - Held every Monday, Wednesday and Friday all year around, the Park plays host to a contest to catch the best or most exclusive Pokemon the contestant can; they then get to keep it! Keep in mind, the rarer Pokemon tend to come out around these days . . . MYTH/LORE - Being what it is, the National Park does not have any major myths or beliefs.

 ~Ceica Vinictore:Meine Blitze werden deine Träume zerschmettern~ The National Park of Johto had always been a relaxing place for the white-haired girl to visit whenever she traveled to the region. Though the place will billed as a safe-haven from the restless city of Goldenrod, there were always children running around scaring the Pigdey away, new Trainers looking for bug-types to train, small Pokemon battles, and of course, the various gossip between bench-sharers.
The air here almost felt as good to breathe in as Pallet's. Though, the park did suffer from being so close to Goldenrod.
Ceica sat all by herself on one of the many benches, with her trusty Jolteon, her eyes, sitting at her side. Images popped into her head of children running, teenagers texting on their phones, and parents playing catch with their children. Ceica was able to interpret the thoughts of the electric fox into familiar images in her mind. She always knew there was an upside to being a gifted Pokemon Channeler.
"So King, we've been sitting here for nearly an hour now. Is there anything you feel like doing?" she asked the Jolteon. An image of herself, surrounded by a barrier popped into her mind. The Jolteon was trying to tell her that all it cared about was protecting his master.
"Very well then. Really though, I think I've raised you too strictly. You need to let loose sometimes!" she said as she pet the head of the Pokemon. She got a mild shock of static electricity as she did, but Ceica had grown used to it, being an electric-type trainer.
The Elite Four member sat back in her bench, and closed her eyes as she took in the sun's rays.

Amy Tyler & Dervish Crown
"We're Team Rocket - in your face!" Lost in what was, despite the peace advertised, a whirlwind of sound and motion, Dervish and Amy were up to no good - to put things lightly.
The two were dressed in plain clothes, Amy wearing a rather fetching summer dress whilst Dervish had donned a stylish suit and tie combo, not only to avoid attracting attention but because they were posing as a couple, escaping the hubbub of Goldenrod on a day out - whilst they were actually scouting the place out, or, to use a more adequate phrase, casing the joint. For there was far more to the National Park than what was allowed for public use - there were acres and acres of undisturbed land, playing host to who knows how many rare and skittish Grass and Bug-type Pokemon. Pokemon whom Dervish and Amy were out to get.
Benjamin and Lillian had both been let out from their Poke Balls, the least conspicuous of the pair's Pokemon, and were playing lookout for them whilst they attempted to hack into the Park's computer system (which would probably contain a record of all Pokemon within its confines) using what appeared to be normal Bluetooth.
It would probably take a psychic to work out what they really were . . .

~Ceica Vinictore:Meine Blitze werden deine Träume zerschmettern~ King had started growling very fiercely, which was unusual for the Jolteon. Ceica slowly stroked the electric fox's head, and then stood up.
"Tell me boy, what is it?" she asked. She was surprised nobody in the park had recognized the Elite Four member. It wasn't every day that one of the top trainers of Kanto and Johto's Pokemon League took a rest in the park.
All that was put into Ceica's mind were two shadowy silhouettes of a man and a woman, meaning King was suspicious of a couple in the park.
"You sure about this buddy? What are they doing?" she asked quietly, hoping not to arouse any suspicion in the park's attendants. All King could put into her head were an image of a computer, and a pair of shadowed Manectric and Ivysaur. The young Jolteon had a good sense of what types of Pokemon belonged to what types of trainer.
So...two people here are doing something with the park's computer system, and they have two monsters with them... she thought. Hopefully, there wouldn't be a battle in the park; too many people could be harmed.
She grabbed the end of a retractable leash on King's collar, and told him to lead. He quickly dragged Ceica to a young couple, the man wearing a suit, and the woman in a summer dress.
If these two were up to no good, their Pokemon would no doubt try to attack Ceica and King as they neared.
King finally reached the man in the suit, and began to growl at him. Ceica closed her eyes, and made a connection to King's mind.
Don't get mad at me for what I'm about to do, just go along with it.
Speaking directly into this Pokemon's mind was much more difficult than any Pokemon she owned. It was much easier to do so with Psychic types, and monsters she had been around longer.
Ceica then hit King on his behind. "My goodness! King, leave this poor man alone!" she snapped. The Jolteon whimpered, and sat down on the pavement.
"I'm so sorry about the Jolteon!" she said to the man, her eyes closed. "It's his first time here at the park, and he's not used to so many people!"

"We're Team Rocket - in your face!" It was certainly a surprise for Dervish when King began to growl at him - Amy had been keeping an eye on the security guards at the entrance nearest to them, whilst Lillian and Ben had been pacing along the path, patrolling in a way that would make them seem more like bored Pokemon out with their trainers than, essentially, guards. The Manectric reacted just as one would expect, growling back at the Jolteon, whilst Lillian seemed just wary of the Eeveelution, keeping her eyes on it, though not yet preparing a vine for attack. Dervish and Amy had been very clear in their instructions to their Pokemon - their cover was essential for the mission to go smoothly, so they couldn't attract attention, or at least, not too much.
Dervish, having jumped in surprise, nearly fell backwards into the grass, but caught himself in time, the small PDA in his pocket that would allow him to control the Bluetooth undisturbed. He smiled weakly at Ceica, trying to keep up the pretense of being an uptown boy out on a date. "Oh, don't you worry about it - Benjie here did the same thing I first visited." The Manectric sent him a look, which he had to wince (mentally) at; Ben didn't appreciate that, no-no. Amy jumped in, backing him up. "Oh, darling, did you know, Lillian did it, too? She ended up slapping that ranger with her vines, do you remember?" They gave a laugh, seeming every part the uptown couple, and it was now Ceica's move.

Pokemon Newbie Gabe looked up as a Jolteon and it's trainer walked by. "Look at that, Chico, it's a Jolteon. One of the eeveelutions. We should keep that in mind. Someday our Eevee will be ready to evolve," Gabe said, talking to his grass pokemon who was content sitting and listening to his master's ramblings. "What do you think, Chico? Should we evolve Eevee into a Jolteon?" Gabe asked, patting Chico on the head. "Chiko" ["Maybe"] "Ya, you're right. We shouldn't jump the gun. Gotta study the other eeveelutions first," Gabe said with a smile, leaning back against the bench again, but keeping an eye on the electric pokemon and it's trainer.

Ceica didn't know much about how the National Park's computer system worked, only that is regulated the times the lights went on, and controlled the fence that separated the park from the forest. There had been quite a lot of Team Rocket activity lately in Johto...were these two part of the criminal organization?
From what Amy had said about Lillian whipping a ranger, she figured that she was talking about the Ivysaur, and Benjie was the Manectric. Ceica's electric types would be no use against the grass Pokemon. Though, her Electabuzz did posses Toxic, the grass monster would still have an advantage.
Ceica kept her eyes closed, and let out a small laugh. "Did he now? I have a Manectric as well. Very loyal creatures, as well as guardians. I'd hate to see a Rocket break in to my house with good ol' Mick out!"
King then lunged towards the Manectric, causing Ceica to yank him back fiercely.
"King! I thought I've trained you better than this! You simply can't go around attacking Pokemon that belong to people! Especially not a lovely couple like this! If you wish to battle, I'm sure there's a small contest in Goldenrod!" she scolded, smacking the Jolteon again. Was King really that suspicious of these people? The Jolteon was very well trained, and would never attack a Pokemon unless commanded to.
King then emitted a small bolt of lightning that whizzed right past the device on Dervish's ear. Ceica could not see where the attack went, but was surprised that her Jolteon was being so disobedient.

"We're Team Rocket - in your face!" This was getting more and more tense for the Rocket duo - the Jolteon was acting too aggressively, and Dervish didn't know how long it would take for them to shake Ceica - probably not long enough to keep Ben from pouncing on King. "It's nice to know I'm not the only one who Manectric - they seem pretty sparse here in Johto." Ben was getting more and more skittish of the Jolteon - small sparks of electricity were beginning to run across his mane, the universal way for Electric Pokemon to say, 'Back off.' He nearly seized upon the Jolteon when the Eeveelution shot off a spark at his trainer, but Dervish was quick thinking enough to, (despite the light static building up on the Pokemon) rub Ben on the back reassuringly. "Don't you worry about it, Ben - he doesn't mean anything by it." Amy was keeping a close eye on the trainer nearby with the Chikorita - she was becoming more and more sure that she had seen him before, possibly at the contest in Goldenrod.

~Ceica Vinictore:Meine Blitze werden deine Träume zerschmettern~ If these two were indeed Rocket grunts, then it looked like the criminal organization was actually taking time to train their members on how to actually act while undercover. Whenever Ceica had encountered a grunt, they were usually their normal angry, skittish selves.
Dervish remained relatively calm when King attempted to shock him. The Jolteon was now practically oozing small sparks. A few people were glancing at the Jolteon, whispering about how some people should have more control over their Pokemon.
King was letting out a few high pitched cries at the Manectric. [Your humans look pretty suspicious with that thing on their ears! I know that's no telephone they're using! And why are you so uptight, huh?!] King said to the Manectric.
"King, quiet down!" she said, yanking his leash once again. "If I'm bothering you two, I'll gladly leave. Come on King, let's-"
A young boy, around the age of thirteen suddenly ran in front of Ceica, a spiral notebook in his hand. He was the typical Pokemon trainer, Pokeballs clipped onto his belt, a backpack carrying supplies, and his shirt was adorned with a Pokeball logo.
Ceica, not able to see the boy or have King lead her, bumped into the boy.
"Oh my goodness! I'm so sorry! Is th-"
"Hey! You're Ceica of the Elite Four, right?!" squealed the trainer. Normally, Ceica loved getting attention from trainers, but she was still near the couple she suspected to be a part of Team Rocket. If they overheard that she was one of the Elite Four, there was no doubt they'd track her down and attempt to take her monsters.
"...Y-yes, I am!" she said to the boy relctantly.
"Oh this is freakin' awesome! Hey, sign this please!" he said as he forced the paper and pen into Ceica's hands. Her head still up, she quickly scribbled her name on the paper. The boy beamed, then ran off saying something about how he'd see her in the Indigo League someday. Ceica wasn't playing attention, she just wanted to get away before the Rockets figured out her identity. She tried to pull King, but he wouldn't budge away from the Manectric.

"We're Team Rocket - in your face!" Ben wasn't about to let King get away with calling him uptight - sending him a glare worthy of an Arbok, he let out a few calm cries. [Uptight? This coming from a Pokemon trying to escape a leash because he thinks he's found a chance to play hero?] He snorted, looking sideways, as if dismissing King altogether. However, for Dervish and Amy, with the arrival of the pip-squeak trainer came a whole herd of problems.
The two shared a quick look while Ceica's attention was focused for a few seconds on the trainer, silently communicating to one another, and they quickly came to a decision. They might, just might, be able to hold their own against a member of the Elite Four, especially since only one of their combined eight Pokemon was weak to Electric types, but that didn't mean they wanted the distraction. This plan required finesse - something impossible to achieve whilst fighting a battle across such a large battlefield. Thus, they continued to play along; if Ceica showed any sign of recognizing them, or if King decided he wasn't going to play nice . . .
Then things would get messy.

"We're Team Rocket - in your face!" Amy was none too pleased with having her cover blown by the teenager, and slapped him across the face. "I'll have you know I had to pay five thousand Poke Dollars for this dress! Now I won't be able to wear it for months!" Just as she finished talking, the PDA in Dervish's pocket finished its work, giving out a 'ping!'. Nothing seemed to happen for a moment, and then the guards, stationed at every exit and entrance, dropped to the floor, clutching their ears, before falling unconscious. Dervish had set the communications system to send an ultrasonic signal to every earpiece in the Park - it was just the wolves and the sheep in the Park, now. "Ben!" The electricity that had been charging up all along the Manectric's fur came to a blinding end, producing an effect that Gabe would no doubt be familiar with, and the Rocket due made a run for it, Lillian and Ben close on their heels as they headed into the trees that surrounded the public area of the park - the fence just behind them, once electrified, was no longer operational.

King snarled at the Manectric, and nearly bit it, but Ceica managed to yank him away in time. Just as the girl was about to step away from the Rocket duo, she heard a young boy approach Amy, claiming that he had seen them before in the city to the south. So, King was right to be suspicious after all...
All Ceica heard was a strong slap, and the park-goers shriek moments later. King rushed to Ceica's side as the Manectric distracted the young trainer that had tried to confront the dastardly duo. The Jolteon sent an image into Ceica's head of two shadowy figures running, and a fence.
"They got away?!" she yelled. King then lead her to Gabe, let out a small whimper, then stared at the Chikorita.
"Young man, are you all right?" she asked Gabe, though she wasn't looking directly at him. "Stop whining about your ineptitude and help me into the forest! You have a Chikorita on you, so I'm assuming you're a registered Pokemon trainer. Can I count on you to help me track those two down?" she asked the boy. There was a slight tone of anger, seeing as the two had been a part of the organization that was responsible for her blindness.
Ceica was a bit nervous about tracking Amy and Dervish down in a forest she couldn't see, filled with vicious and deadly Pokemon, but somebody had to do something.
